SUMMARY
It wasn't exactly the nicest childhood.
Born to the Vels of Ord Trasi, Remus grew up with his 3 siblings and father that was a nightmare to Remus' other half. Although closest to his twin, Romulus, he had most love for his sister. They could dream together about what they could achieve out on the greater Galaxy. She's what made staying worth it.
Their father got worse. The drive within Remus to reach the wider Galaxy and become something more than what his father wanted, got stronger. It was when Romulus was shipped off to Military School, that the last straw within the younger twin broke. Before his father could do the same to him, he took off, stowing away on a ship that was bound for off-world.
Incidentally, it was an Imperial Military vessel bound for the Braxant theatre of the Hyperspace War. Stowed in the cargo-hold behind some giant ammunition crates, he thought of what it was he was doing. Abandoning the only other sibling he had loved. The guilt was there and it ran deep. But it was too late to do something about it.
Now, many years later, he was in secret service to House Renoux of Jaemus. An agent, one of the best. A chameleon fitting in where needed when needed. Achieving the dream he once dreamt with his sister. News had reached him years ago about his siter's death. This had snapped most emotion within the Vel.
Until a day on Muunilinst where he ran into Romulus...
