- Description: Tall and heavily muscled, the Ren-Popo are ancient by many standards and have continued throughout the ages as a slave race to the Go Nagai. Serving as their enforcers and military units... with the different castes within their society dictating whom serves where either as guards and enforcers or commanders, military fighters and others that are more indentured fighters. With the varying skin tones and thick corded muscles they are soem of the strongest and tallest rivaling Mandellian giants and being able to race tyrant rancors and gorax in combat. Their difference between males and females being their muscle mass and build as the women are slimmer and more athletic while the males are built like a solid wall of meat and muscle.

- A rigid caste system with the color of their skin determining their caste and position in life. The three main castes and the one for mixed races who serve until they die. Children of such a union owe the Ren a death for polluting the blood lines but they are useful rather then a problem that needs to be killed.
- Their servitude to the Go Nagai came long ago when they found them and began to wage war trying to take the system and worlds for its resources. They were blindsided and fed a steroid that made them pliable and easily influenced at the benefit of being able to feel stronger and build more muscle.
- Over time they developed artwork and statues to their new gods the Go Nagai who branded them from a young age as servants of their new empire. They were the hands of the divine and agents of their will. Enforcing it across the stars as slowly their art, their history became unneeded, they weren't a species anymore.
- General behavior: To outsiders the Ren are dangerous, large hulking brutes built for war and to protect their masters. Which they are but they are also dedicated warriors. The mental conditioning, the lifetime of service and the centuries of serving the Nagai has made them very pliable and blindly loyal to their masters often to the point of insanity. They will think nothing of dying upon their command. To the Nagai they serve always and forever while still adhering to their caste system. All put in work and all benefit as they record on canvas and stone the records and stories of their gods.
The Ren are old, coming from their planet in a neighboring system where they fought war after war against each other expending resources of the world and fighting tot he verge of destruction. With the civil war leading into a nuclear war that wiped out a large portion of the population and planet they entered into a reformation age.
Learning and growing as their civilization recovered they found intersteller travel and hyperdrive technology. Building it for to explore their solar system and consuming the resources of the worlds they could find... Then they looked outwards towards the other worlds in the galaxy as they prepared to conquer in the first real Red empire.
They found the neighboring nebula and traveled through it, finding some pockets where they could travel faster while they continued through. After several months the ships arrived in the system and the Rens started from Haven going inwards towards the Asteroid field. Searching and taking what resourced they could from the planets.
Then they made contact, after traveling through the asteroid field they detected lifesigns, worlds filled with people and creatures that they sought to encounter coming in peace before the accessed if the ones could fight back. They met the Go Nagai a peaceful race if not arrogant for their long lives and power.
The Ren waited a month before waging war upon them and devastating them and the worlds they inhabited, they didn't have hyperdrive technology, they had basic travel within their system. They could become a danger down the road but as the Red fought they noticed something happening to their enemies... the Go Nagai were changing.
They were becoming cruel and wicked, not caring about collateral damage as they fought the Ren and used their powers to destroy their bases, decimate their legions and as the Ren started to pull back the Go nagai adapted their technology to use on their ships following them and fighting them to the brink of destruction.
They chased them through the nebula, across the dark space between their systems and to their own home as the Go Nagai assaulted them. Using the dangerous powers that had come easy and even letting their lives end to destroy the cities on the planets, the technology of the Ren being turned against them and in surrender the Ren were scared.
The Nagai were not kind anymore what had been an offer of friendship before was now something darker. The Ren would live but they would not know the joys of life, they would fight but not for their own wants or desires. They would serve the Nagai, they would do as they commanded and slowly as things built up the Nagai began their plan.
They instituted a regiment of pills and cubes, a drug added to it for preservation that made them loyal and pliable to the mental influence to the Nagai. As time ticked on the ones who resisted dwindled and were killed off, the drug was added to allowing for a sense of invincibility and greater strength as they served and became dependent.
Their lives changed as time went on, the drug making them unquestionably loyal to the Nagai and they served as their military and their protectors after they had expelled their energies going to sleep and allowing the Go personality to take over. The Ren had taught the Nagai how to destroy and kill, the Nagai had used the Ren to begin their path.
With the silver jedi and Go Nagai war in full swing the Ren were unleashed upon them. Fighting on two fronts, against jedi and against taung ghosts that were raising themselves from the grave. With the conclusion though the Ren were returned to their original purpose and worked to protect the Nagai. They were there when attacks came and evacuated with many to Atrisia and other colonies that allowed refugees.
The Ren-Popo found Atrisia to be one of the biggest changes... they were in the refugee sectors and their service to their masters continued with new goals as they joined the Atrisian army divisions to aid in the protection of their masters. With the fighting that is needed and their strength they largely work as heavy units being sent into combat scenarios to smash everything with heavy weapons.
