DESCRIPTION
Sometimes a job needs doing that the Galactic Alliance Defense Force just isn't equipped to handle by conventional means. Sometimes, an operation is so sensitive that High Command feels the need to insulate themselves with plausible deniability. Sometimes, crime lords pose a direct threat to the Alliance, but are powerful enough in the underworld to even thwart the Strategic Intelligence Service.
That's when Renegade Squadron comes into play. Less a true collection of starfighter pilots and more an elite team of commandos with some unfortunate criminal backgrounds, the Renegades are in many ways Wraith Squadron's less talented, more eccentric younger siblings. Equally comfortable in both space and on land, these black ops freighter captains make use of heavily modified personal transports as well as a whole host of small arms and gadgets not strictly speaking 'legal' as far as the authorities are concerned.
