APPEARANCE:
Like many of his species, Rens Ahim has salmon colored skin, a high-domed head, fish-like eyes with webbed hands. He stands 1.8 meter in height with a lean build.

PRE-ROLEPLAY HISTORY:
Born as the fourth son to a family of ship engineers on Dac, Rens only lived there for a few years before they moved to Bestine IV for better job opportunities. When turning sixteen however, he nearly died in a speeder accident that killed his older brother due to the recklessness of a drunk driver. Following recovery Rens decided he wanted to become a prospector upon witnessing in court how the driver, an industrialist's nephew was given only a slap on the wrist.
Working hard at various odd jobs as a teenager then as a college student he eventually entered law school and graduated after three years. Around that time he met and fell in love with a Qurraen female, named Shu Intoll and they married. Many in his family were shocked and outraged at this relationship but eventually mended ties especially after they adopted four children(from various species).
As a lawyer Rens Ahim would go on to earn a reputation as a strong crusader against perceived corruption and injustice. Of course his critics had made the accusation that Rens had been overly harsh toward drunk offenders, trying to punish them to the full extent of the law whenever possible. In addition, defendants with bribery charges had been known to visibly dread facing him in court. His efforts went on to earn him the office of district attorney in his home city.
Then in time Rens Ahim entered politics, running for planetary senator and won the bitterly contested election by a very narrow margin. Now the new senator has arrived on Coruscant fully intend to represent his adopted home and people to the best of his capacity.
