Clone Description
Description: Serving as the backbone to the Republic Clone Army the troopers are the first ones to step on to a battlefield and the last to leave. They are the battle tested and brave who jump headfirst into hell in order to see the republic victorious, they have been baptized in the fire of combat and have fought from planet to planet in wars that they were thrusted into. They are the infantry.
While every clone in the service of the republic is a rifleman those who identify as Troopers are the main infantry force of the clone army and specialize in it. From the time they were born from their cylinders the Troopers were taught nothing but infantry formations and tactics, Mandalorian warfare, and weapons for four full years as they grew. Learning everything from advanced hand signaling, jet packs, combat awareness, these clones eat breathe and drink the foundations of what it means to be a trooper.
Clone infantry units are structured very traditionally despite their Mandalorian training. They consist of officers, non commissioned officers, down to junior ranks such as privates and lance corporals. This gives them the advantage of having leadership no matter what rather than the Mandalorian system of if you lose your Rally Master or Field Marshall then possible confusion might break out.
Other strengths the Clones exhibit is unity, having grown up together and been with each other since day one the clones are a family. They love one another and would die for the man or woman next to them. Clones in the field have shown many cases of sacrifice and care for their fellow clones and through this it makes them stronger as a unit.
However despite having the equivalent of a BA in murdering people the clones suffer from a few things. First off being clone aging, while this is possible to cure as seen from the Dreadguard, to replicate it over the entire army would take ages. So most clones will be lucky to see the age of fifty if not their early forties. The next would be their lack of knowledge towards the world outside the military. Clones have never known what lust or love in terms of relationships, they don't quite grasp it. They lack knowledge in a lot of fields a civilian would have, to them things like video games, walks on the beach, or even the beauty of art is lost to them. While they can learn it, most clones simply stick to life in the military. And despite their training and warrior culture each clone is only human, and as such are capable of death just as easy as the next guy.
