The Tetan Legions

Introductory Information:
Named after their patron figure, the warrior Empress herself- Empress Teta, the Tetan Legions is name of a collection of Republican Military Companies that have been collected together to form one of the Republic’s most fearsome battalions. The Tetan Legions are used as the hammer of the Republic Military sent to smash through enemy defenses, defend positions that are in dire situations and lead assaults deep into enemy territory. In every sense of the word they are a heavy vanguard, frontline fighting force that never rests and never retreats. The Battalion itself is made up of various Companies [which RPers themselves can create and add their own lore behind to add to the legion.]
One of the companies that are a part of the Tetan Legion, is the Golden Company. The Golden Company is sometimes known as the Sons of Alderaan. Lead by a group of Noble Houses from Alderaan, these soldier princes lead a guard of Alderaan and Coruscant’s finest. They are known as the Golden Company due to the gold and yellow colored shoulder armor they wear with their Republican trooper armor.
OOC Notes:
The Tetan Legions, acts a plot device for the Republican Army. It adds a unit to fit that “pride” that soldier types have. It allows people who join the Republican Military to feel a part of some lore, instead of a nebulas organization. Here RPers can join a company, become a part of the tapestry of its history and feel like they are a part of something prestige, some “legendary company of heroes”. The Tetan Legions are styled off of historical famous units- Alexander the Great’s Companion Cavalry or Napoleon’s Old Guard, or the British Grenadiers. I would like to emphasize, the Tetan Legions are not Spec Ops. They are a battlefield unit, designed to lead charges and act as a heavy vanguard. I imagine them jumping into the thickest and direst of fights, weighing through drones of enemies carving a route to victory or safety for the rest of the military forces present. They are the beacon of hope soldiers often put on the shoulders of “that unit of heroes” that helps guide them through when the battle seems lost.
I now leave it up to the faction Admins and the Military characters in the Republic to present their criticisms and concerns….or ideas. I am open to anything.
[Note: I will make a proper and very detailed Information Page for the Legion, with history, military structure detail, armor, etc. Once the military Rpers and Admins give their ideas]
