[SIZE=9pt]Low Capacity: As with all slugthrowers the SWRS suffers from a low amount of ammunition when compared to contemporary blasters[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]The SWRS was originally meant to be a single assault rifle and the other rifles it consists of were going to be different designs but it was the intervention of one designer that changed all of this. A junior design specialist at Hekler'Kok argued that they could save time and money on designing if they just designed the SWRS to fit the role of four different weapons. To do this the weapon was equipped with a quick change barrel and rail system. Using a compact carbine but you need a designated marksman rifle? With use of minimal tools and even more minimal time you can change the ten inch barrel and rail system with a twenty-two inch barrel and rail system and attach a long range optic. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Next the materials needed to be chosen. Like the SWPS once again Hekler'Kok's trademark lightweight high-impact polymer was chosen as the shell of the rifle to help shave weight off of it. The internal mechanisms are forged out of their patented Titanium-Alusteel Alloy for durability and to shave off even more weight. Cold Hammer Forged Quadanium Steel was used for the barrel to reduced muzzle climb and keep the rifle on target. Chromium was added to the lining of the barrel to reduce wear and tear. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Once all technical features were taken care of the tactical features were added to the rifle. Top mounted optics rails, bottom mounted grip/bipod rails and side mounted accessory rails are standard on every weapon variant as well as a ambidextrous magazine and bolt release, safety and charging handle. Flared magwells allow for easier insertion of magazines and threaded barrels on the compact carbine, assault rifle and designated marksman rifle variants allow for the weapon to be suppressed. In all the SWRS is a great rifle for the Republic's special operators.[/SIZE]
