lthough the Sith had a terrible reputation, they were still courteous guests who always arrived on a planet with one kind of gift or another. Usually, these gifts consisted of destruction and massacre but this time, they decided to bestow upon this pitiful planet something grander. Genocide and complete eradication of all livable habitat.
My motivation here is to prevent the mass-murder of 9 billion people. Just because I don't like the current administration, that doesn't mean I'm going to let the people suffer if can do something about it. I was hoping that the Galactic Alliance would be of the same mind when I asked for help.
If it counts for anything, In my negotiations with Sanya to provide funding and protection to Sekalus, I mandated that she adhere the same standards of governance expected from all Republic systems moving forward. As Sanya and my peers can attest, I was very insistent that she follow through with that mandate. I had plans to get more involved with Sekalus to work on establishing a constitutional monarchy, but things had gotten hectic with the Sith back then, and now my character is busy uniting systems that have been cut off from the GR on the map.
If she goes back to pulling the same shenanigans she did in her BR days, then she will either be cut off or removed from power. The former is a strong motivator, because I know she would be hard pressed to find support anywhere else among the light-side factions, and she would lose the Libita battleship to the GR. The write-up for the latter option would be a breeze considering how she established herself.
I appreciate your response as FO, even if it wasn't the one I had hoped for.
