Resisting Lightsabers

So, if we're going to fight Force-Users, we need to be able to fight lightsabers, which means getting a hold of some restricted materials.
I'm willing to do dev threads for this purpose, and wanted opinions on which materials we should go for first; I suggest cortosis.
Here's a link to the list of items and what we need to do to get them.
Any thoughts?

There will be 3 objectives

Defense.
Transportation.
Actual mining.

B1 and B2 original battle droids along with old turret systems left by the sith.

At any rate what would you lot like the cortosis be made into? I'll handle the thread and submission but what kind of weapon or armor are we looking at?

Maybe light shields or CQC armor. And melee weapons. And guns. So they can't be cut.

With one thread we will have enough for 1 type of item to be distributed to people who participated in the thread. As it looks right now we will need about 25 posts for the Judges to Accept it
But making bladed weapons would be the easiest
