Understanding that sometimes negotiations can become more hostile than intended, the designers at Barabian Systems made this protective coat easy and simple to wear, subtle and fashionable without being too gaudy or suspicious to wear.

- Subtle: The Resolution Mark 1, despite being Armourweave is designed to look like any fashionable coat, jacket, or even blazer and can suit any formal situation.
- Thin: The Resolution Mark 1 is not a thick, cumbersome piece of clothing, and as such any form of repeated fire, even from relatively weak weapons will punch through.
- Close Encounters: This Protective Coat is designed to protect from projectile attackers, not anyone with a melee weapon; a standard vibroknife or other similar weapon will easily penetrate this coat, though regular bladed weapons will have a bit more trouble.
