Restoring an Empire

Hello my fellow Atrisians. As some of you know, back in March we merged with the Fringe due to a number of reasons, one of which being my imminent cross country adventure due to a new job. Said new job kept me to busy to RP, and obviously the merger with the Fringe did not help keep TGE active.

Well work has slowed down enough that I can devote some time back to my favorite hobby, and rebuild this faction. For now I don't think we should focus on long term goals, nor really delve to deeply into our relationship with the Fringe. I think we should look internally, and focus on just being us for the moment. Should opportunities arise, we can move then.

Both the Hand and Remnant exist now, so we would likely do ourselves a better service working with them rather than against them as we find a place for ourselves again.

And of course, opinions are always wanted.

I believe one of the first thing that will need to be done is for Akio to reestablish himself. Originally he faked his death as part of a plot I wanted to do, but never worked out (and since I was away from the board, worked out well enough for the time). Madeline Kahoshi took the throne in the mean time, but her writer would like to do other things with the character. So Akio coming back is probably the best course of action.

I have stated a social thread idea that I plan to get up today that should attract Artisian characters to it. It may not get all of them to rejoin this minor faction again right away but it may get some and or get other Artisians working with AE or get their muse flowing again.

Some time to you just have to build small and lay a foundation out. We do not have the back of a million Egyptian slaves so we will have to this the slow hard way.

@James Mathison as for you training that would be my responsibility right now. Start a IC thread here and state we will be in the Inquisition Citadel and Yokuni will ask some basic question to get you started on your training.

There are certainly some ways Mori can benefit the Empire while benefiting himself. And Alejandro says Alejandro is at your call if you need him.
