STRENGTHS
Now You See Me, Now You Don't: The Classified Reticent-class has a full-spectrum stealth suite. This allows it to hide its presence from most known detection methods used in the Galaxy.
Roadrunner's Cousin: Extremely fast, especially if the SLAM module has been engaged. To round it off, the military-tech hyperdrive lets it go where it needs to be in the nick of time.
Armed to the Teeth: Packs a surprising punch for a vessel its size. The classified version especially is capable of going toe-to-toe with ships that should reasonably outclass it otherwise.
WEAKNESSESGlass Cannon: It relies on its speed and stealth to avoid being annihilated. A few solid direct hits can put it out of commission. As such it requires a competent pilot to remain intact.
Come on and Slam: SLAM module lets it go very fast, yes, but its maneuverability suffers. If the pilot isn't prepared for the sudden lethargy they might find themselves splattered to the wall. This is especially the case for the standard version of the vessel.
Lightning Strike!: Loaded with state-of-the-art equipment and technology means its quite sensitive to ionized attacks and slicer intrusion. If an attacker manages to overload the cap drains or get through the electronic counter-measures suite the vessel loses a lot of its potential, until it recovers.
Down with the Ship: Every corner and nook of the vessel has been designed with a long-term mission in mind. This has left it with no room for any spare starfighters or escape pods.
DESCRIPTIONThe Reticent-class Reconnaissance Vessel was personally requisitioned by the Queen of Kuat. It was meant to serve an example of Humbarine-Kuati expertise to IVI , Director of the SIA. It was designed with the most elite of SIA agents in mind, who regularly go on long-term missions throughout the Galaxy and require to get to their destination in covert silence. Very often they lack the ability to receive any substantial support from their organization, especially if they are behind enemy lines, as such the Reticent attempts to cover this gap with its systems.
It has full-spectrum stealth and sensory suite. Allowing the agent to hide from sight and acquire vital intelligence from its surroundings by simply passively listening in. For more engaged pursuits, it contains a NEEDLE slicing unit, allowing an able agent to amplify their own slicing skills if they wish to attempt to slice their target.
While Kuat Drive Yards are known for their more Imperially-minded aesthetics the SIA leadership initially requested it to be more inline with the Alliance design. Arage Bao intervened personally and pointed out that if the GA would be guarding against any further intrusions by the New Imperial Order, it would make sense for its intelligence organization to possess vessels that could visually pass as Imperial.
It was difficult to argue with that logic.
