Strengths:

Weaknesses:

• Loss of the bridge nearly completely cripples the ship as it doesn't have the crew capacity to otherwise run the vessel
• Because of all the extra space that would normally be used for crew quarters being taken up by other systems, and the lack of necessity for too much crew due to the command throne system, there is an increased response time to systems issues, which decreases damage control efficiency.

Description: The majority of the R-series ships are not equipped for long range attack, and are somewhat on the slow end compared to other vessels. As a result, they can't hit the enemy forces until they're right in on top of them, subsequently causing issues of being hit first without retaliation. The Retribution-class is designed to alleviate this issue by providing a platform solely built around the concept of long-range attack. It has zero normal turbolasers, and requires defense against close range attack from other vessels, but had numerous heavy long range weapons designed to strike the enemy from afar while the rest of the fleet moves in to attack. It has a minimal crew necessity, which is both good and bad. The ship is more effectively controlled by the throne system, but the lack of remaining crew makes it harder to fix issues in a speedy time frame. It's also slower than most ships its size due to all the heavy components going into it. But it's designed to serve a specific purpose and is more than capable of doing so.
