Return of the Bawdy Song

Location - Planet Ordo

Return of the Prodigal Warrior Farmer

A story of homecoming

Leaving home is living as though I do not yet have a home, and must look far and wide to find one. Home is the center of my being, where I can hear a soft voice that says you are my beloved. It is a voice that has spoken to me in the past and continues to speak now. It is the never-interrupted voice of love speaking from eternity and giving life and love and reminds me "You can walk in the valley of darkness, and fear no evil for you are the baddest mandalorian farmer warrior to ever walk this way"

A TIME FOR SONG, DRINK AND GOOD FOOD
The planet Ordo for the most part was a harsh world full of desert and heat. Great if you are a forger, horrid if you are a farmer and Arla she was.......working on that.

The Ordo System had long been the home of Clan Ordo and once again it would be, the fortunes of the Clan would be used to build this place up, make it something for them.

And while this world Ordo could be home to many she was looking at the next world over, it gleamed like a jewel in the night sky that would be her next stop.
BUT not tonight.

TONIGHT was a celebration the casks were full the meat was roasting and the Clans were gathering, friends and family a time to reconnect.

Children had been born, Vod had moved away, Vod had married, and then there was the remembrance of the departed.

Yes a return to what it meant to be Family, to be a child of [member="Ordo"] .

Here at the equator where vegetation had a chance, and an oasis provided for the Clan here was where they would gather. The soft warm breeze kept it comfortable, the ripples on the water at the heart of the oasis inviting.

Ships landing littered the desert around them.

Avrum was excited he had seen something hiding in the deep green leaves and was determined to catch it.

The RMSU was set up, and already the supplies for the bio dome structures were arriving. The ruins of what was once here waited for them to come and brush the dust off. Tonight though, they'd drink to their memories.

All clans are invited, especially those that have member related to Ordo .

Balor. A clan with little recognition, and less renown than some of the others. Craftsmen, artisans, and revelers. When their kin, Ordo, called for a party, of course the men and women of the loudest clan, who dance and drank and sang, would be eager to hear this, and more eager still to be heard. The ships were few, but eac paint in the clan's colors. Bright violet. Most of them brought hover-sleds full of food, and drink, and musical instruments, and various gifts for the many children who would always show up at such a gathering. Funky smiled. Senate atop a hover-sled, his robes a deep crimson reminiscent of some celebratory spirit, his sledge full of barrels of mead.

"OWHOHOHO!" He said with a laugh, waving as hie came over the hill, his entourage a mess of merry celebrants. "Alright lads, let's get this party prepared! Life is short and we should celebrate while we have some! Mount the barrels, find a place to keep your instruments. And if a leggy alien asks you to dance, show 'em how Balor does it!"

"ELEK, REDALUR!" (yes, dancer) The various clan riders said in return, removing their belongings and adding them to festivities.

Funky and Taira both strode up, directly towards their kin, Arla. Though she shared their clan name, she was nwo the leader of clan Ordo, and thus, was their ruler as well. Still, tonight was a night of joy, not formality. Which is why titels were ignored when Funky spoke. "Cousin!" He said with a laugh. "My vod here is in sore need to dancing partners and strong drink, as she has run out of both at home! We kneel to your hospitality!" He joked haughtily, laughign a little. Any opportunity to tease his older sister.

Taira smirked and threw a good-natured sibling punch at her brother's shoulder. The Alor then nodded to Arla. "What my lout of a vod means to say, is that it is good to see our vod! And that we have brought more offerings for the festivities!" She smiled. It was good to cut loose around friends and family. Even the obnoxious ones, like her little brother Funky.

A feast had invited to all the Mandalorian Clans in order to celebrate the return of a legend and warrior who's name was known throughout all the ranks of the Mandalorians, and the Munin found it disrespectful if he didn't join the feast made by the Clan of Ordo. A clan that Vilaz respected as it was an ancient, yet strong clan that survived the dangers of time along with the others when the Mandalorians were scattered and stagnant. Ever since Ra's reign which was still living, Mandalore and her warriors prospered divinely fr every decision that was made. And honestly, the Cuir Rekr was definitely prospering from every second that passed as his own clan was the Vanguard of Mandalore and most importantly he found his one true soulmate who had stole his heart ever since the raid on Loronar.

Of course his relationship with [member="Briika Tor"] was a secret that everyone, besides Lok and Mesh'la, didn't know about and would remain as a secret until they both tied the knot completely. However, the Akaan couldn't bare the thought of not being with Bree during their trip to the planet of Ordo and during the party at Clan Ordo's homestead. That showed how the two lovers were very addictive and obsessed with each other. So in order to not be separated while still being discreet of their romance, they showed up at Clan Ordo's party in a freighter full of Munin Clansmen with no armor and no weapons.

As they enjoyed the festivities of Clan Ordo, Vilaz found it extremely difficult and irritating in order to maintain his romance with the golden blonde as an unknown thing to the others; and that meant no holding hands or anything like that. "Are you enjoying yourself, Bree," the Munin asked to his beloved very casually and giving her a sweet, quick smile that only she could see.

Briika had mixed feeling about this secretiveness of her romantic relationship with [member="Vilaz Munin"]. On one hand they liked their privacy very much that was true, but on the other hand it made doing things together as a couple very difficult like attending this feast hosted by [member="Arla Balor"], the Alor of Clan Ordo. But none the less, the Munin and Tor made things work. Today the Akaan and battle medic were accompanied by several Munin clansmen to pay their respects to their fellow Mando'ade along with [member="Mesh'la Dral"], Briika's daughter, and 'Lil Val', her infant grandson named after his late uncle, Valen Tor.

When the rugged Concordian walked up, the golden blonde offered a small smile his way and a greeting nod. "I am, ner vod. Well I should rather say we are," Bree chuckled softly as she shifted the baby in her arms and took Val's cubby hand, then waved it gently at Vilaz.

"I let Mesh'la have some time for herself to mingle as this is her first outing since returning home. She feels a bit awkward after what happened, but I encouraged her to put things behind her and move on as life doesn't stop just because something spoils one's plans and goals," she said with knowledge gleamed from her own experiences, then the seasoned baar'ur leaned in closer to the Alor and whispered.

"I moved on and I have enjoyed every minute."

After leaving her young son with [member="Briika Tor"], her mother, Mesh'la walked about the area that had been set up for the feast sponsored by Clan Ordo. So much had happened over the last year: Strider's death, the pregnancy, her marriage to his bastard son, Aden, the birth of Valen, then the separation from her husband after galavanting around the galaxy on his father's ship - not exactly a good place to raise a baby, and now her return home to Manda'yaim where her true family lived.

The young blonde closed her bright blue eyes and took a deep breath, inhaling the wonder aromas that were aloft in the slight breeze, then reopened them to make her way towards the fire pit to see what was on the barbecue.

Maeve peeked out from the corner of the tent where her family was staying. She didn't mind that they stayed in tents, it was better to have roots somewhere then all the traveling they had done for the last...well as long as she could remember.

A gentle nudge from behind she looked at Edee, she reached over and gently and rubbed the space between her eyes, there so far were very many her age, and so far she had not seen anyone but Arla from the Clan. Course she didn't know many people from the clan either.

She shrugged looked back for her brother, and buirs [member="Ordo"] and Rianna. "Guests are arriving I'm going to go out and..." she smiled, "say hi"

Edee started to go with her, "No stay Edee you might scare them" She stroked the cat again and left.

"HELLO!!!!" she waved as she made her way towards everyone, "Welcome! everything is hot and ready, or cold and ready..." she looked at the adults, "I'm Maeve, I'm Ordo and Rianna's daughter" She looked at everyone, "who are you?"

"Well, I'm really glad the two of you are enjoying yourselves," the Akaan said his beloved and had his attention on the baby that was in Bree's arms. The boy's hand waved gently at him as Bree grabbed it and did the cute gesture with the child. Vilaz's index finger would reach out for the baby's hand so that Val could grab it and hold it. Very soon Vilaz would be the boy's step-grandfather and Mesh'la's second stepfather which gave a nervous and exciting thought for the Akaan. He wanted to be a part of Bree's entire life and that also meant being a part of Val and Mesh'la's life which was something that the Munin wanted to happen. However, he would have to bond with them, especially with Mesh'la', if he were to have a healthy and wonderful relationship with them when they became as a whole family. The fact that they didn't carry his own blood didn't bothered him at all since the Concordian and Lok didn't have the same blood and DNA; however, he rightfully treated him as his own son and he would do the same with Mesh'la and Val.

"Don't worry, Bree. I'm sure she'll be back to her former self before you know it. It'll take time, but it'll make her stronger just like you," the Akaan said to his significant other in an assuring tone in regards of his future stepdaughter.

The golden blonde then leaned in close to Vilaz and the words that she whispered to him moved his heart and put a smile on his face. He could and wanted to kiss her, but he had to remember that they were in public and not alone with each other."I'm happy to hear that. I, too, feel the same and I want to enjoy all of my minutes with you," the Alor said to the battle medic in a loving whisper to tell her how he felt about their romance.

Kaveh Garshasp

Guest
Ordo.

He had not been here in a long time. With a heavy sigh he watched the incoming ships as they arrived for the return of Ordo, a previous clan leader of Clan Ordo. With his bare arms folded over his large chest the man, as usual, was clad in his scarlet red beskar'gam. He spotted Arla from afar and gave a nod, and a wide grin which was hidden by the helmet on his head.

Shieldmaiden of Clan Munin (semi-retired)
Briika watched thoughtfully and with amusement as the Akaan gave his finger to her grandson to grab onto. This had been their first meeting. It gave the golden blonde a curious wondering if [member="Vilaz Munin"] was wanting to have a child of his own with her. They hadn't really discussed it as their relationship wasn't that far along yet, but the goal to become one was at some point. The two both had older children, be it though his son, Lok, adopted. So if they were to become partners in life, a very blended family the Munin/Tor would have.

"Lil' Val seems to find you fascinating. I hope you like babies because I think I'll be watching him quite a bit for Mesh'la as she slips into life back home," Bree smiled sweetly, then added. "Which means when you come around we will," she winked subtly with another soft chuckle.

A young girl excitedly came out to greet them. She was a spitting image of [member="Rianna Ar'klim-Organa"]. "Well hello there, [member="Maeve Ar'klim"]. I know you mother well as I work with her. I am Briika, and this little one is Valen, my grandson," Bree smiled warmly at the cute as button's dark-haired child, bending forward a bit so Maeve could see the babbling baby, then the golden blonde looked over at the rugged Corcordian standing there.

"And this is Alor Munin."

Ordo lay prone on a distant hill with D'ral his young son beside him. The sun was already getting hot and their armor was soon going to show heat waves with luck they were blending into the sand well enough.

"Ok bub," Ordo began "Just like we practiced."

The boy pulled the paint ball rifle tight to his shoulder as a small grin spread over his face.

"Ok, buir." He said trying to be stoic.

"Do you have your target?"

"Yeah, Alor Munin."

"Good choice." Ordo said holding macro binoculars up to his eyes to find Vilaz. "Just breath and when you're ready squeeze the trigger."

"Ok, buir." D'ral said getting calmer.

Slowly the boy squeezed the trigger until a thump came from the barrel and the pink paint ball soared at Vilaz. The two crawled backwards quickly behind the dune and chuckled at their new game.

The Akaan smiled at Val as the baby's tiny hand took hold of Vilaz's big index finger. The child appeared to be grinning at the Munin and looked at him in wonder. While Bree and Vilaz were madly in love with each other and were having a wonderful relationship with each other, the two haven't talked about having a child together. Indeed did the couple wanted to spend the rest of their life with each other and be bound with each other through marriage, but the topic of having their own children was something untouched by their words; however, the Cuir Rekr had deeply thought about having little ones with his soulmate and was liking the idea of having a child with the golden blood.

"I'm really glad he likes me. I'm starting to like him as well, and I sure would like helping you out with him," the Alor said to the battle medic with a smile, knowing that their relationship would be better than before as they would look after the little boy for Mesh'la. "Hmm, I think we will after watching this little guy. I can just tell," he said to his beloved with a warm and sweet smile.

A woman that resembled much like a younger Rianna came and greeted the three Mandalorians. The Concordian smiled at Ordo and Rianna's daughter as they began to introduce each other. First, his beloved introduced herself and his future step-grandson and then it came to him. "I'm Vilaz Munin, the Alor of Clan Munin," the Akaan greeted at Maeve without giving out his other titles. Yes, he was the Akaan but he wasn't one that liked to gloat to everyone about being the War of Ra.

Suddenly a ball full of pink paint impacted on Vilaz's left butt cheek which caused him to jump and turn around to see who did this prank on him. "What the h-" and stopped himself as he thought of both Bree and Val, and didn't want to vent in front of them during this nice feast that they were enjoying. "Looks like someone pegged me good and clean," the Alor said and would have continued by comparing Bree's perfect accuracy to the person who had smeared his pants with pink paint from a ball.

Having checked what was on the barbie and taking a walkabout of the tented area that had been set up in the desert for the feast sponsored by the Ordo Clan, Mesh'la returned to where she'd left her infant son in the care of her mother. She watched [member="Briika Tor"] for a moment as she interacted with [member="Vilaz Munin"], who had joined the battle medic and Lil Val. The young blonde was still trying to get use to having the Akaan around and in her mother's life rather than her step-father. But it was what it was. He wasn't there anymore and neither was her younger brother. She just wanted her mother to be happy and truly loved. Briika deserved that as did she, but that was a whole different thing. So if this rugged Concordian did that for the older golden blonde, Mesh would try to accept it.

Suddenly there was something that whizzed past her, then hit the Cuir Rekr right in the tush. Mesh'la's first thought was for the safety of her young son, but then a pink splotch spread out across the Munin's left butt cheek and a wide grin came to her beforehand serious face. The younger blonde had to bite her lip to keep a giggle snort in as she walked up and took Valen back from her mother.

"Who would have thought the Wolf of War would look so pretty in pink," Mesh quipped with small chuckle sharing a humorous look with Briika. "I like. Will it be part of Clan Munin's colors now?"

She turned to [member="Maeve Ar'klim"] then and introduced herself to the young girl. "Hi… I'm Mesh'la, Val's mommy."

Thump. Thud. Thump. Thud. Klank-klank-whir.

Ijaat cursed inwardly. The cybernetics for his leg were not ready yet. As he walked up to the group he gave the temporary lower mechanical leg a hearty thunk with the haft of his bevii'ragir and muttered a bit at the thing. The motivator in the knee got stuck at the worst of times. Like now. Looking about, he nodded, still absent armor as he hadn't yet decided how to proceed. The armor of Jaster didn't fit him anymore, and he was still mulling over designs and ideas... He could use a trip to see [member="Draco Vereen"] at some point, the man knew armor as well or better than he did.

Putting aside such thoughts, he slapped Vilaz on the back heartily with his cybernetic. Likely the action resulted in making the younger alor rock or sway with the strength of the back slap. He laughed a bit at the predicament and adjusted the murder-tooth hide jacket, shaking his head. There were some here he knew by reputation only, others not at all. And then there was Vilaz. But he wouldn't have missed this for the world. Ordo wasn't a close friend, but he respected the hell out of the man. Fierfek, he even admired him a bit if he were honest.

"You know buddy, I'm sure we could find you a pretty little bonnet and some flowers if you'd like..."

"WELCOME! " She had never met Funky before and this was unusual. "It's good to have you here too, pick out a spot we are feasting and drinking tonight! OO what have you brought some tempting morsel for eating or something strong and heady for drinking?"

Arla was doing her best to make sure the Vod were welcome and knew that this place this night was about connecting. One way the clans stood strong was through their connections to one another, when the call for help comes out everyone should answer. Clan Ordo had a rule about helping others among the clans something her buir always said they should do, help one another. Feth if they couldn't help one another they'd surely fall and disappear.

[member="Arla Balor"]

Funky laughed. Of course, she hadn't met him, hell, most of clan Balor had been in different sectors of the galaxy before Ra called for the crusade, and he had been wandering around Nal Hutta at the time, doing security work. Taira herself had been on Atrisia, hiring herself out to various nobles for short-term contracts. He smirked at Arla. "A good bit of both, vod. A few of our clan have prepared some native delicacies from Null, while others like myself brought in several barrels of mead, ale, and some rather unique wines," he thumped one of the barrels soundly. "It's good to finally meet you, Alor. I am Funky, Alor'ad of clan Balor. You've met my Vod, Taira," he said with a gesture to the clan A'lor who simply gave a small bow.

Taira smirked. "Forgive my little brother. He's often too enthusiastic for his own good when it comes to new folks. As to our lineage, we're both Taisen's kids. Did you eve meet Taisen?" She inquired, still smiling warmly. "I think she was adopted by Ren Dai Balor, but I never met him....." She seemed distant for a moment and then shrugged. "But still, it's good to meet in such times, and see how much has been done here!" She smiled warmly. "You've built oases in the harshest of deserts, vod. That's a thing to be glad of."

Funky simply chuckled. "Well, there is much to be said of good fortifications, especially in a desert. Should you desire the aid of any stone-cutters, several kinsfolk of Balor have been training with the Masons of Null. They are quite gifted at their craft," he mused out loud with a nod. "I'm more fond of steel than stone, myself, but then, we must all find our talents, after all."

The Munin looked at Bree's daughter with one eyebrow raised. Was he mad or upset? No, he wasn't. He knew she was joking and teasing him which was a good way for the two to share a bond with each other. After all, it was how both Bree and Vilaz began their relationship together. "No, Mesh," Vilaz said to the younger blonde with a chuckle, "these won't be the new colors of Clan Munin. I'm sure that's not a fearsome image for the Vanguard of Mandalore or for the Wolf of War." Black and Red were the unofficial and popular colors of Vilaz's clan. Why were the unofficial? Well, he didn't want to force his clan members to change the personality and character of themselves and their armor which didn't fit them. Of course, a majority of his clansmen wore the unofficial colors of the clan while some decided to paint their armor in blue, gray, green, or whatever Mandalorian colors they decided to paint themselves with.

Suddenly, something else hit him right on the back which was solid and the shape of a hand.

What was it with him getting hit and slapped on today?

The Concordian turned around to see who it was and it turned out to be a man that he knew and was friends with for a very long time.

"Ijaat! Where'd you came out of, bud? And what happenen to you," the Alor said to his friend and asked him in a curious manner in regards of his cybernetics. "And I think it's Lok that needs the bonnet and pretty flower if ya ask me. Tarnish his cool like image, y'know?"

He then went on to introducing Bree, Mesh, and Val to the Mereel. "Ijaat this is Bree, Mesh'la, and Val. They're all part of my clan."

Briika bit her lip hard to keep the total amusement in of the situation with the Akaan. A nice prank had been pulled and Force help whomever perpetrated the paint ball attack. It was funny, though she could tell [member="Vilaz Munin"] was a little miffed by the way his jaw muscles tightened ever so, but his sapphire gems still had some good natured humor in them so maybe the rugged Concordian would let it slide. Yeah the golden blonde had come to know her beloved well.

The next thing to surprise the Cuir Rekr was a slap on the back from one of the seasoned Mando vets. He had a mean looking cybernetic hand there. Interesting style too.

The battle medic canted her head respectfully towards the man after the Munin introduced the Tor and her daughter and grandson. "Su'cuy, ner vod. Nice to meet you. It's a great day for a feast and the clans getting together to share it," Bree smiled at [member="Ijaat Mereel"], then her azure gaze went to Vilaz.

Everything had a plan didn't it?

The plan had been to have fun, to choose someone from the arrivals and see if they could be drawn in. Dral marked the target, and Maeve was to finish it off.

The pink splatter stood out a single shot, a good shot.

"[member="Briika Tor"], Yes my mother talks of you, I know you." Maeve smiled at Mesh'la , "I don't know what to say about the baby he's cute" She tried the etiquette classes her mother insisted on were helpful only to the point that she could think of something nice without being mean.

But then she looked at the Akaan, at [member="Vilaz Munin"] she tilted her head, her gaze still on the pink splatter, "My buir says that the element of surprise is key to winning an ambush."

From her sleeve she pulled the pistol and shot. Neon green so green it almost glowed she looked up at the Akaan. "Tag you're it" Maeve hoping surprise was still on her side, turn and ran to the meeting point agreed on by her brother and father.
