Return of the Jedi?

After the original Jedi Order abandoned the Galactic Republic all together, I think the idea has been considered to start up a new chapter of Jedi dedicated to the GR. However, after looking into past events, I just think there's just something inherent to the structure of the Jedi and government that will always lead to friction, segregation, and then departure. Instead of a new order, I'd suggest creating a modern public institution with a training environment for Force Sensitives (and NFUs interested in studying the Force) free of ideological baggage, focusing on control and (responsible) exploration. No more Jedi, just Republic citizens who happen to be Force Adepts.

On the military front, we need some kind of special unit for PvPing, because I feel that's a real sore spot for us right now. Trained and properly equipped units of FUs and NFUs. Give them some lessons in Teras Kasi, a Ysalamiri pack, Phrik laminate armor, and a pulse rifle/shatter gun.

[member="Elaine Thul"] that would be cool. thank your for the guides. Even if it's not a place directly supported by the government, I'm still going to make a write up. At the moment, I'm calling it the Faven Institute for Paranomal Studies (Faven or Faven Institute for short). As far as instructors go, I want to open it up to people from all different backgrounds. They just need to pass a background check.

I know that Mantic was thinking about creating a Jedi Order for the GR. Just have to wait till he gets back next month to find out for sure.
