Reunion

Ever since the events on Zeltros, Avreet had cut all contact with the One Sith, severing many ties. The only thing that still connected him to the group were his friends and the tattoo on his back. The latter would be removed once he paid a visit to Maya again, hoping the Light Sided Jedi healer knew how to remove the Mark created by the Dark Side itself, while his friends remained as something he definitely wanted to keep, his old Master and Lady Banshee in particular. Avreet was not sure if either of them understood his reasons for this self-imposed exile, but then again, Lady Zarrah had done the same before, meaning the Togruta Sith Master most likely understood her former apprentice’s reasoning. The same could not be said about the other Sith though, and his desertion could be seen as treason.

Not taking any chances, the Sith Master immediately headed out of the One Sith space, going to the Black Sun territory and settling on Nal Hutta. Avreet disliked the world greatly, a dump of gangsters and other filth at the start of their criminal career, but it also offered anonymity, something Zatarus needed right now. The only one knowing of his location would be [member="Darth Banshee"], whom he had invited for a cup of tea and a talk by sending her a message to her private comms. He wanted to hear her opinion on the matter before deciding what to do next. The young woman’s beliefs were not very different from his own, thus he wished to see if she also played with the idea of leaving the Sith. If the recent massacre would not push her over the edge, Avreet did not know what else would. Even if she remained loyal to the One Sith though, the amphibious Sith doubted her giving away his location. The human was a good friend to him, and he knew he would not have betrayed her if they have exchanged their roles.

Posing as a tourist, the Mon Calamari found one of the moderately expensive hotels on the planet and got himself a small room. He did not trust canteens and pubs, as there was always someone to listen to your words. Naturally, given the planet’s reputation, his cybernetic eye had scanned the hotel room for any unwanted devices, just to save himself from a nasty surprise if the One Sith assassins came knocking. Once sure the room was bug-free, the Mon Cal prepared himself some tea, making enough for Sabrina as well, though he knew the young woman might want something stronger given the nature of the recent events. Thinking about it as he sat on the bed and slowly sipped the hot water, he could use an alcoholic beverage as well. Avreet never liked alcohol, but these were very unusual circumstances and he needed to forget it all, at least for the night.

She took a fury to nal hutta, to meet an old friend [member="Avreet Zatarus"]. She knew he had left the order, after zeltros I she had heard rumors of why. He was being branded as a traitor, though others were saying the sith went to far. All she knew was a mentor and dear friend, had left the order due to his consciences. She had to know what happened, and what they could do next. As she knew without the one sith at their back, people would soon come gunning for them. She was also worried about her friend, and hoped they could find some accord with the sith if she as well.

She found him a tea house, she sat opposite him and gave him a faint smile. Then asked how you been? Her voice sounded weary and tied, and force new how much she would kill for a giggle stick right now.

The Mon Cal's large head turned to look at [member="Darth Banshee"] once he felt her presence in the Force. The young woman made her way towards him, sitting opposite. Her signature calmed him down significantly, it was good to be in the company of a good friend. Returning the smile, though his was warmer and showed little to no signs of exhaustion, the Mon Calamari filled an empty cup and put it in front of the brown-haired woman. "I am pretty good given the situation, thank you," the Sith Master said kindly and chuckled, his big orange orbs studying the woman. Veles felt guilty for her current state, knowing his actions must have worried Sabrina greatly. Still, he did not regret his decision, as he valued his honor and would rather die than join the ranks of the Sith who have succumbed to insanity. "You look tired, though. Have a cup of hot tea, please. We can talk about what happened later."
