BobertEZ
Lord of Conquest
Location: Great Sith-Imperial Library, Bastion
Objective: N/A
Star Date: c. 858
The Great Sith-Imperial Library. Raptious was surprised to see their brother in such a place, of all places. The Ashen Devil of Noxis never seemed to be the studious type, especially given his recent actions whilst on deployment with the Imperial Legion. Even out of his armor, and even when the Phoenix's stature was taken into account, Kascalion Giedfield was a massive individual, taking up most of the book aisle he stood in, a tattered red book sprawled open in his calloused hands.
A worrisome feeling overtook the Phoenix, causing them to look around the great library in three full rotations before setting their white gaze upon the Ashen Devil with a curious expression.
"Brother, what are you doing here?" Raptious asked with a calm tone, eyes still darting around the seemingly endless rows of knowledge.
"Reading," Kascalion responded with a gruffness only he could manage.
The Phoenix stiffened at their brother's unexpected tone and cleared their throat nervously, "I see that, but-"
The Ashen Devil slammed the book shut and finally looked up at his sibling, bright ice-blue eyes gleaming with annoyance, "Look, I'm not exactly in the mood to talk, Lorale. Besides, you have something to deal with."
"What do you mean?" the Phoenix asked as their brother brushed past them towards the exit of the library.
"You'll see," Kascalion grunted once more before the doors slid close behind him, leaving the Phoenix 'alone' and confused.
