- Used as both a bodyguard and shock troops by Asaaj En Kelsani
- Heavily biased towards short range and melee combat using pistols and swords.
- Use their Harrowers to disorientate and incapacitate enemies during combat, making their battle charge particularly terrifying.
- Fight without fear or remorse making them ruthless killing machines.
- Willing to give themselves to Asaaj's blood thirst if other sacrifices are unavailable
- Strengths:
- Emotionless killers - Their cold nature means they fight without fear or remorse, they are brutal and efficient killers and take no prisoners.
- Vitae - Only their leader has been granted the full blood kiss by their master but each of them has been granted a level of Asaaj's vitality, enhancing their strength and more so their speed, as is common with the Sanguinius Vampirika females. This also extends their natural life well beyond normal limits.
- Dedication to combat - Having few desires other than to serves, the Revenant Warriors train obsessively to hone their abilities including full contact combat training. They are always ready and are extremely proficient at what they do.
- Weaknesses:
- Close assault - Their longest ranged weapons are their pistols and their ability to throw grenades, limiting them to close range combat and making open field fighting hazardous.
- Bloodthirsty - Once in combat they struggle to control their urges for greater bloodshed, making them ill suited to missions that require a more subtle touch.
- Hard to replace - Every casualty is painful as Asaaj must then go through replacing them, potentially seeking out a new warrior to elevate with her vitae. If the armour or sword is lost it may take weeks to create a replacement through dathomiri alchemy
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Revenant Warriors were formed as a household guard when Asaaj was Blood Queen of Ubelixa and she herself created the first warriors and their Equipment. Since them they have never been far from her side. Only at specific times, such as her time at the lower ranks of the Eternal Empire, when personal guards would have been innaporporate has she been without them, but eve then they trained and operated in the shadows.
They are extremely skilled and deadly opponents, specifically in close assaults that Asaaj herself favours and enmasse there is little than can stop their charge.
The leader of the Revenant Warriors is a Sephi woman that has been Gifted with the blood kiss from Asaaj and she has been by her side for nearly four hundred years now. She is a skilled fighter and almost as dangerous as her master.
They are gifted with sanguine vitality from Asaaj and a fanatically loyal to her, almost to the point of worship. They glady offer themselves to her thirst if she requires it of them, even if the process is painful and recovery from being fed on can take some time.
