Revenge, A Dish Best Served with Extra Spice

Revenge.

It was always a dish best served cold. This time however, it would be a dish served months after the first meeting. [member="Sanya Val Swift"] had embarrassed him on Utapau and he wasn't happy about it. [member="Sanya Val Swift"] had defeated him and was the reasoning behind his death. Yes, he killed himself because he refused to die at the hands of a Jedi, but the point was there. If she hadn't of been there then he would of never had a reason to kill himself. He hated her for it, he hated her because she beat him, she beat him and allowed him to fall.

He would of died anyway.

Darth Novus sat in the cave of [member="Darth Manah"]. He was shrouded in darkness, the tunic and trousers hidden by the dark black cloak he had taken. It made him look like he was older, it made him look around forty and not fourteen. He wasn't sure how old he was, but he knew he was older than fourteen. He had an age once, he had forogtten that age when the cliff incident had happened. He hated the cliff incident, the time he had lost his memories. He hated that incident, it seemed so long ago. It was so long ago, it was at least four years ago.

It was long ago.

He opened the terminal. He couldn't find his target by name, he didn't have one. Instead he had tracked a slicer down across the galaxy and the slicer had agreed to work with him. He remembered the cat like features of the Jedi well, and the moment they had a lock on her she would meet her end. The brand new lightsaber sat in his lap, it wasn't perfect at all. It was tempremental and his crystals were not great, but it would do as a weapon. It would do until he could get his revenge. He shook his head, looking at the terminal.

He began the call.

The heavy bass beats filled the small room, or at least had they not been contained in the noise cancelling headphones it would have. The neon glow of a screen cast shadows across the darkened room, the stale air pushed around by a small desk fan - the hum of which was entirely unnoticed by the figure hunched over the keyboard. The rapid clacking of keystrokes punctuated the low hum of electronics, and the subtle whumping from the headphones. A man, likely in his mid to late twenties occupied the chair scooted up to the desk, his pale complexion speaking volumes of where he spent most of his days - the dark curtains drawn across the window only furthering the eerie glow of his blue eyes as they raced across the screen.

Lysander Sedonis, or better known on the net as 'Chimera', had chosen the small flat to conduct today's business - it had the benefit of his equipment for one, or at least some of it. All he really needed was the voice encoder and his basic encryption setup, he didn't want to waste the time travelling to where his real rig was set up. The small workstation he now worked from would do the job. Several weeks ago, he'd made a few statements across the net in a few of the various anonymous chat rooms, it seemed someone had taken notice. He'd done a decent job at covering his tracks but through one of his main avenues he had been offered a job. Hesitant at first he'd avoided responding but the price tag for such a seemingly simple task had finally won him over. Today would be a finalization of contract among criminals, or at least he assumed it was a criminal. Not many people required tracking services - only time would tell.

Activating the private encrypted link, his face would be obscured by a masking program, voice adjusted and re-arranged to prevent any sort of voice recognition even if they were able to isolate speech patterns. Confident in his ability to remain anonymous, he spoke - a robotic voice carrying over the holonet to its destination, the man offering the job.

"Of course"

He glared at the computer screen. He was ready to get his revenge against the Jedi Order's across the galaxy and he was going to begin with the Jedi that had slaughtered him. He crossed his arms carefully, studying the screen. He knew he couldn't see the face of the slicer, he was smarter than that, but something about having a place to look made Novus feel much better and much calmer, something he hadn't felt since his revival.

"You know the price I am offering. You need to find a cat, a Jedi Knight cat. She slaughtered me and I want my revenge"

He began to describe the cat in question, describe [member="Sanya Val Swift"] to the slicer. Novus knew nothing about her, which was a shame. If he did, the slicer would have a much easier job. It would also make the job cheaper. The price wasn't a problem, he had a wealth from the palace of Atrisia he could use, he just didn't want to waste anything unless he had to. Unless he had to use to accoplish his goal.

"Everything in your arsenal. I want her found! I want everything on her. I want her name, age, location. You freeze her bank accounts and you make her suffer!"
