Reward System [Please read and give opinions]

I've seen in the past, that upon the completion of a Dominion or Invasion for the Republic, a factory submission would be made for the participants to receive a reward, namely the Jedi Champion armor. At the time, I just thought, "Pfft, everyone has this," and now months later, I realise very few do. I rarely see someone have it and when I have seen them, I think, "Wow, they were there? cool" It was a nice way of signifying what the character had participated in.

Simply put, I was thinking that to further the Republic's activity and determination to complete objectives in dominions, invasions and otherwise, that a reward system should be used where participants will gain a simple reward, and possibly more for those who truly dignified themselves. Thoughts on this?
