----Despite advancements in science, and the many modern miracles of today, it seems that Genetic Splicing is not yet perfect between Human and Elzeri-Vahla species. While many of the advantages of the latter two parent species are present in Project Zero's genetic makeup, it seems to be straining with the human aspect. As a result, Zero's body is undergoing a constant state of decay, being kept at bay by his advanced healing factor. This causes him terrible pain throughout his body, without aid of a suppressant, labeled [REDACTED], also known as "Mithrazol". Subject has a large supply of the suppressant, however if forced to go without it for more than 48 hours, Subject will go through withdraws, including all over body pains, shakes, migraines, and will eventually slip into a coma, and presumably death,
--- As a result of the various "Rage Enhancers" and emotional programming, Project Zero has been known to commit violent and seemingly random acts of violence on anyone he perceives as having wronged him. This perceived slight can be anything from a subordinate failing him, to someone using improper manners (Which, should be noted, Subject Zero places such a value on his programmed Manners and Proper Etiquette that any behavior he perceives as "rude" is met with EXTREME AGRESSION. Sir, I must say, for at least the fifth time, I STRONGLY disagree with putting the placement of Project ZERO in the hands of a teenage girl! I came onto this project 30 years ago, as one of the founding members of it's earliest stages. We came to the Interstellar Genetics in order to further our research in perfecting cloning techniques-- particularly in cloning "Force Users", and eliminating the problems that come therein. For example, although a Genetic sample could be a powerful user of the Force, such as a Jedi Master or Sith Lord, even the most perfectly replicated clones would lack the ability to perform even the most basic of telekinetic feats. We looked to not only clone a Force User, but make one more powerful than any naturally born and trained one, on a mass produced scale.
Our initial testing proved to be far more difficult than originally predicted. Out of numerous tests and prototype subjects, it became clear that the creation and cloning of Midichlorian-rich blood was not only difficult, but close to impossible. Even with various methods of transfusing Midichlorian rich blood, harvested from ,[REDACTED], still proved unable to produce a successful subject. The problem, theoretically being, that the host of cells came from a deceased source, and although many of the cells were still alive, there was a marked drop off in revive ability. Correcting this problem, and the resulting solution, were later dubbed Phase 1
As with many things within the Interstellar Protectorate, the solution came back to Elzeri DNA. The unique Elzeri genetic structure worked to bridge the gaps present in Human Embryo, with the womb of a Vahla female's womb as an incubation chamber. The infusing of living and dead cells produced an adequately successful result, with acceptable levels of complications during the birthing process, which resulted in the termination of the Vahla female incubation subject, and some nominal birth defects.
In order to correct these imperfections, dozens of surgeries and cocktails of growth hormones were forced upon the Subject, accelerating it's aging process and strengthening the muscle structure and correcting several of the . It wasn't long until the Royalty discovered our project, and realized the war applications of having genetically perfected Super Soldiers armed with the Force. Once our...directional mandate...was changed, and Phase 1 was complete, and the Infant test subject was reclassified as PROJECT Z.E.R.O.
As such, Project Zero began flash training in the most basic human etiquette and customs, basic training and advanced soldier programs, as per outlined in Phase 2. Once sufficiently oriented enough to function, his physical training began. Trained in the ways of the Jedi and Sith, by hired Mercenaries and paid professionals, Zero was given the best possible training credits could buy. However, another unforseen complication of said conflicting training, resulted in the young subject having various mental abnormalities and violent outbursts. These "personality flaws" were easily corrected in Phase 3 of the Project.
Phase 3 involved further surgical implants placed in the Subject's frontal lobe, of the custom designed Z.E.R.O. System. Originally designed as a Cyborg Assassin Operating System, the Z.E.R.O. (or, Zoning and Emotional Range Omitter) System allowed it's user to directly control their emotions at will, or by an outside operator using specific code words and phrases.
