HISTORY
Reynon Gallant was born on the verdant planet of Chantemer, into a family with deep roots in the local wine industry. His ancestors had cultivated vineyards for generations, producing some of the most revered vintages on the planet. However, when a catastrophic harvest hit, it crippled the family's business. To make matters worse, the Poutine regime, known for its ruthless oppression, targeted his family, forcing them to flee their homeland. This experience of displacement and persecution deeply affected Reynon, fueling a rebellious spirit from a young age.
Growing up in exile, Reynon's discontent with authority only grew stronger. He developed a fascination with flying, spending hours studying the history of famous pilots and, more intriguingly, the legendary jetpack troopers of the past. Their agility, freedom of movement, and defiance of gravity captivated his imagination. These stories of airborne warriors, coupled with his own experiences of flight and freedom, inspired him to pursue a life beyond the constraints of ordinary rebellion. He envisioned himself not just as a fighter, but as a symbol of resistance, soaring above the chains that had bound his family.
When he was old enough, Reynon left behind his family's legacy in winemaking to forge his own path. He joined a group of Empire-busting privateers, adopting the alias of the "Skyfox." As the Skyfox, Reynon fashioned himself into a jumpertrooper-like rocket commando, using his flying skills and combat prowess to strike at Imperial forces and other oppressive regimes. His operations quickly became infamous, with tales of his daring raids that circulated around rebel groups. Now, he and his loosely allied privateers have found a home with the League of Autonomous Worlds, a coalition that resonates with his desire for independence and self-determination. In this alliance, Reynon sees an opportunity not just to fight, but to help build a future where no one else would have to endure what his family did.
