- Comfortable seating for five crewmembers in the cockpit of the vessel, with another two-four seats available in the cargo hold for the load masters. These seats are crash rated and have safety harnesses and external oxygen ports so that in case of hull breach, the crew can attach their flights suits' air reserves into the ship to continue breathing and working.
- Deimos Laser Cannons offer good protection against incoming fighters and munitions, but little else.
- Massive cargo hold in this vessel meant to hold walkers of various sizes. This being from the brand new Gladius Assault Walker platform to something much more akin to an AT-RT. And these things have their own load/unloading ramp onto the vessel, meaning you can directly land the ship on planet so it can deliver its cargo.
- Massive multiple FIE-2 Engines power this vessel to give it a respectable speed for a craft of its size despite how much weight can be loaded into the ship. This allows for the rapid deployment of these vessels to a system so they can then disembark their heavy cargo much faster than a standard vessel.
- Luft Class Life Support System allows for total control of the air inside the vessel, making it able to house a variety of species. It is however incorporated into a system allowing it to directly connect to not only walkers, but various members of the crew in cases of hull breach or needing to depressurize parts of the ship. This means that you won't lose that precious air even if you have to open the cargo bay to the vacuum of space, and can do extended runs in this manner.
- Heavy Phrik-A armor allows for the vessel to tank a lot of incoming fire and environmental hazards, allowing for the ship to operate anywhere at anytime. This is achieved due to multiple protective laminates inside the armor plating, allowing for the vessel to mitigate various threats effectively and still operate.
- Svalinn Shield Generator provides a best in class overall shield protection in a lighter package. This means that a smaller generator aboard the vessel can provide a respectable well rounded shield while allowing that much more space to be dedicated to the big boys this ship is meant to carry.
- Whatever you can think of, she can carry: This vessel is meant to be a heavy lander for a variety of equipment, but was more intended for the heaviest of walkers in the Gladius class Assault Walker. And if she can carry an entire lance of those walkers, you bet your biscuits she can carry anything else smaller and lighter than them. So whatever your combat cargo needs are, bring 'em on. The Rhino takes all comers.
- She's built like a brick house: This ship is also meant to be tougher than your average transport. With a few active defenses to help mitigate specific launched munitions and other issues, the main protection of this ship is her armor with a shield generator. It's much thicker than your average transport, and she's meant to go into combat regardless of the conditions presented. So rain or shine, hostile or friendly skies, the Rhino will get you there in one piece.
- Safety of crew and cargo: This ship was also designed with a premium in mind for crew and cargo safety. This means that the vessel has crash test rated seating, spare air lines, and even allows for the vessel to crash land onto the surface of a planet while roughly and violently, keeping the crew and cargo alive. This allows for the pilots, gunners and loadmasters to trust in their ship and focus on their jobs rather than second guessing whether or not each trip will be their last.
- I need support: This ship isn't a standalone combat vessel. If you don't want to lose them as those pesky fighters, bombers and whatever else your enemies have laying around eventually destroy the things you need to at least provide a proper escort. And if you think you're going to just have this thing fly through an enemy fleet, uh yeah good luck. Because last I checked even most corvettes have turbolasers, and while the Rhino is tough, repeated turbolaser blasts are not something she likes. At all.
- Big ol fatty: This ship is slower than your standard craft of her size due to the fact that it's carrying that much weight in its cargo bay. This allows for other vessels to keep pace with her quite easily, even heavier bombers being able to out pace this craft. And while she isn't exactly slow, this ship is pretty easy to shoot at, because you're not going to be doing barrel rolls and loop da loops in this ship. At least not without getting a few eyerolls from the pilots around you as they laugh at how fat and lazy this ship flies.
The assault lander. One of the heaviest combat cargo vessel classes out there, short of an assault transport like the Acclamator, there is none that can compare to its utility on the battlefield. When it comes to landing the most amount of troops on the battlefield, whether they are walkers, tanks, infantry or even just pure logistical requirements for your forces this is the go to ship to bring into the fight. And while she's heavy and slow, with the maneuverability akin to a whale, the amount of cargo she brings down for her size is just impossible to beat. So next time you're planning drops, go ahead and save yourself some trouble and bring these craft down loaded to the gills with whatever your heart desires. You won't regret it.
