Rich Golden Sponge Cakes of Adventure

Hmmm the soft texture of them came to her as she was sitting there. The ship leading the way for them to go through when she looked at her own. Sorel had helped with the OriRel and now the massive ship was in orbit of the planet... well a planet no one really knew about now. They had come here to test the project, to test out on a larger scale the terraforming and engineering technologies for themselves. It had worked and there was more being constructed on the planet below. So she had invited someone who knew how to explore and keep her own, someone talented as a jedi... and most importantly as she ate one fo the snack cakes. Someone she could bribe with these golden sponge cakes filled with creamy goodness. She had a small look on her face when she went over at a couple of different places here on the planet. She had a crate or ten in the cargo hold to entice and use the small cakes to make a trail or maybe a string she could use to lure Valae to adventure.

The Tumbleweed arrived at the coordinates provided by [member="Orihime Ike"]. Valae Kitra was in the pilot’s seat, her eyes watching the large ship in orbit there. Based on her sensor readings, there was a planet… but she had never heard of this place before. She’d been asked here to catch up and to possibly help with a project. Valae had few details and was not sure how she could be of assistance, but she was sure that Orihime would bring her up to speed.

First, she needed to get in contact with her friend and find out where to meet. Her finger pressed the comm button, and her voice would come over Orihime’s frequency.

“Hey, Orihime. I’m here, do you want me to dock in the hangar or meet you planetside?”

Valae glanced down at the wrappers that littered her console; her supply of snack cakes was running desperately low. She only hoped that her friend might have foreseen this and brought along a couple of boxes.

Orihime was looking at the ship and there was space in the hanger here. With a small grin she spoke. "Yes yes dock in the hanger please." She was excited and practically tripping over her own feet in the robes to go and meet Valae before she was moving over to it. She hadn't seen her friend in awhile, they had started some things and they had been working on the discovering another planet no one had heard of. This one jsut happened to be part of a larger project that was being worked on. Something massive in scale that they were looking to build up and show off to all fo the others. "OriRel let my friend in and let us go and see." She said it as the ship responded, the bioship was large and giving them a very nice sense here on the sensors but she could feel the force nexus within the ship itself.

“Sounds good, I’ll see ya soon.” Valae responded to Orihime’s channel.

With a smile, she began to guide her ship towards the OriRel, and watched as the hangar opened in anticipation of her arrival. While she wasn’t a terribly skilled pilot, she could manage just fine when it came to simple things. The Tumbleweed set down easily within the shelter of the hangar and Valae quickly gathered up her things. Marching towards the exit, the ramp lowered and she peered out into the large space, looking for [member="Orihime Ike"] to appear.

Her brown eyes gazed about with wonder; this certainly wasn’t like any kind of ship she’d been on before. Valae stood next to her ship, she didn’t want to go wandering about in her friend’s ship just yet.

“Hello?” She called, “Orihime?”

She could hear her and was going off to meet her. With a small grin on her face and the very nice, very sleek robes of the silver jedi. There was also a chance that Valae would be able to get and try out the whole very nie healers robes. Those were something important but ease into that as she clasped her hands behind her back and was going forward. Orihime herself though was looking at around the OriRel as it had everything for them, all of the supplies that they were bringing to the teams on the planet itself and she was looking as the hardlight projection followed her of the temple that was being constructed on the planet below. a massive structure for all of them before she rounded the corner to see Valae finally after so much time. "Valae" Looking at her as she moved forward.

The brunette turned as she felt the presence of her friend growing near, and a bright smile lit up her face when [member="Orihime Ike"] entered. She stepped forward to close the gap between the two. As always, her Jedi friend was pretty and pulled together with her elegant robes. Valae might have looked a bit scruffy by comparison in her dusty trousers and simple tunic. Though she had kept the robes she had worn during her time with the Silver Jedi, they had been neatly tucked away for some time now.

“Orihime,” Valae said with a nod, “It’s great to see you again.”

Her hand gestured to the wide open space of the cargo bay.

“Sure is a nice ship you have here. I’ve got my own now, too. It’s nothing fancy, but I like it.”

Valae grinned and shoved her hands in the pockets of her pants. Of course, she didn’t want to be rude and ask about the snack cakes right away…

“So, what do you have planned?”

Looking at her for a moment while she thought about how to reveal her master plan to the woman. All of their work on this planet well was going a long way and she stood there looking at her. Presenting a wide grin on her own face before the jedi knight was speaking. "Well the plan is to go down to this planet and explore it. The terraforming we have been developing here is important as a test to help restore worlds. The medical and aid workers who might be able to improve the lives of others." The real tests of it and the construction efforts that could be provided if they could terraform other worlds that might become a world for people. Orihime was bringing up while the ship was going downt ot he large ocean side cradle that could hold the ships. She had the OriRel open up the view port with a look on her face offering one of the sponge cakes while eating her own. "Also to bribe you with lots of treats."

Valae’s brows arched thoughtfully as she listened to [member="Orihime Ike"] explain their plan. Go down to the planet and explore? Well, it had definitely been a long time since she had done anything like that. This was bound to be an interesting trip. She watched as the viewport opened up, revealing a large ocean. There was a tiny shiver of fear; Orihime probably remembered that Valae was not much for swimming. But the brunette forced a smile.

“Sounds like fun,” She said with a nod.

And then she looked to the side to see that Orihime had a very generous offer of a sponge cake. Her smile broadened, and she accepted the small cake gratefully. It was just what she needed to give her a bit of energy and motivation.

“Thanks, I am quite fond of these little cakes.” Valae giggled, and then took a bite.

Once the cake had been devoured, Valae let out a satisfied sigh. She wiped her fingers on the front of her tunic, and turned back to Orihime.

“Alright, that was good! I’m ready to go now, shall we head down?”

"Almost, we are over the ocean, we are heading towards the jungle. There is less water and well there is some construction going on here." She pointed to it while the woman was eating some fo the sponge cakes with a small grin. They had plenty and all of the other pieces of food that would go well for them. The ine section temple that would be built and in the ocean comeing off the mainland provided for the jedi being here on the world something few others could match. She was looking at what they would be able to develop here before setting up some other parts of i. "The construction of a large jedi temple will provide several things, aside from the surface it will also stretch out into the ocean and have underwater access to crystal caves that led us here. The rest of the jungle though there is a big chance to explore all of it.

Valae breathed an audible sigh of relief – less water, that was a good thing. But she’d had been to jungles before, and she knew that meant hours of hiking. She snatched up a few more cakes and set them carefully into her rucksack. There was also one cake left in her hand, just one more couldn’t hurt!

“A temple?” She asked, taking another bite. “Sounds nice, I’d love to see it. And I’ll pitch in, of course.”

While she was not a construction worker by trade, she could certainly help out with technical bits. Her background as a salvager did come in quite handy sometimes. From what she’d heard, it sounded like Orihime’s project on this world was a massive undertaking – they would have their work cut out for them.

“So,” Valae perked her brows, “While we have a moment to spare, tell me about what you’ve been up to. I’ve missed all of you.” She nodded, she still remembered exploring with their group of friends.

Hmm she was looking at her and a chance to pitch in constructing the temple would be something to see as she gave it a small look. "We might e able to help out." She was then thinking about the second question and what had she been getting up to since they last met... hmm it had been awhile. "well I have been training, progressing in my skills with the force and a saber." She looked around though while she was going over it. "I have been working and training with Sorel for the most part and a few others. Exploring other worlds like this and a few others that we had discovered such as the Gree's great lirary of manuals and such." She said it with a small grin on her face though while moving now and the ship was setting down in the jungle as she could feel the force energies all around them. She was letting the force guide her though when the ship shifted to make an opening for them. "This is going to be so much fun."

Valae gave a small nod as she listened to [member="Orihime Ike"]. It seemed that her friend had continued to dedicate much time and effort towards bettering herself. For her own part, Valae had put her training on hold; her lack of confidence had gotten the best of her. And she hadn’t actually used her saber in some time now, nowadays it did adorn her belt, but that was it. Perhaps she felt ashamed of herself, but she made a silent promise to start training again. Her expression brightened at the mention of Sorel.

“Oh, good! It sounds like the two of you have been busy.” She smiled.

Her brown gaze shifted back towards the viewport, watching as the ship began to set down in the jungle. Valae drew a deep breath and let her awareness reach outwards, the energy was quite strong here. She couldn’t help but giggle at her friend’s enthusiasm, and she nodded.

“Yes, I think you’re right. It will be fun, just like old times.”

Looking her over and looking at everthing around here. Where she could go and where they would be able to better see some parts of it. Giving a small grin when she had the doors opened up out into the jungle. There were drones moving around from here that could check out the growth of everything around here. Orihime was checking out parts of it, where she would be able to walk around. Orihime was looking at Valae and offered a hand to lead her with her towards the parts of the jungle. "Come on, we shall have a fun time here." Just like old times maybe but there were more chances for them now and she had a few ideas of how to teach or expand some of their skills. "We'll find someplace nice and really get to the exploring... just make sure we don't run out of snacks or food."

Just as the ship set down, Valae went about filling her pack with some additional snacks and a couple of ration bars, just in case. She had not packed much in the way of essentials, but she did have a couple of canteens of water, a rugged jacket, a small medpack, and her saber. The brunette tied her wild hair into a ponytail to help keep it tamed, and tied the jacket around her waist. Once her pack was settled onto her back, she turned to nod to [member="Orihime Ike"].

“Don’t worry; I think I’ve got us covered as far as food goes.” She grinned.

She watched as the ramp opened and allowed them to exit the ship. Already she could feel the vibrant jungle calling to them. As they moved out, they were greeted by vast greenery, vines, and a thick canopy above them. However, the sunlight was still quite visible as it filtered down to their location. She could feel the heavy humidity immediately, too. Of course, the heat made exploring all that much more difficult, but she would do her best not to complain.

“Alright, which way should we go?”

Hmmm where shoudl they go? Orihime was looking around so they could go somewhere... somewhere cool and interesting with a small grin on her face. "Hmm good, now where to go." she was curious and certain they might be able to find anything now that they had the good situation cleared up and handled. With that, with their small chance to travel she was bringing out one fo the small mapping drones they could use. for this. The small things flying around from her wrist pad until she gave a small grin to the jungle starting to walk. "Let go that way." No real direction just walk into the jungle where she could feel the force energies and everything around them.
