[SIZE=12pt]Biography: Campbell was born on Alexandria shortly after civil war had broken out for the removal of the existing monarchy. Campbells’ parents were lower class, and were firmly on the side of the soon to be Commonwealth. As he grew up, Campbell watched the civil war and its after effects as they happened, which sparked a passion inside him for all things military. He would often spend his free time when not in school studying military tradition, strategy and battle tactics. He knew that he wanted to become an officer in the Commonwealth Navy from a young age, and he began working to be the best in his class academically and physically. At the age of 18 he applied for and was accepted to military academy, and at age 21 he graduated with honors and was granted an officers commission in the Commonwealth Navy. He spent his next two decades in the Navy serving on various vessels, and quickly caught the attention of his superior officers. He quickly climbed through the ranks, and was promoted to captain at the age of 42, and was placed in command of the frigate ‘McKinley’. He served as captain on the McKinley until its decommissioning 3 years later, at which time Campbell was transferred to the Agincourt, his second command and current posting. [/SIZE]
