Blackened Valkyrie — The 14th Wife
"Don't fall for someone
who's not willing to catch you."

About a dozen guards were hot on her tail with more pitching into the chase as she ran through the long corridors. Every way down seemed to be teeming with more guards carrying blasters and a verity of melee weapon. In small groups she knew she'd get past them but there was to many. Instead she was forced to keep going up.

It wasn't just the guards who was in the chase. Anyone with a blaster was after her. The immediate bounty on her head was motivation for coin seekers to give a rats ass. Her blade struck through the neck of a gammorean who stood in the way of the only door she could pass through to the exit. As far as plans went this was a failure. At least the target was killed.

Teresa went through the door pressing the close button behind her knowing it would buy a few seconds. The girl approached the edge. A speeder wizzed by as she assessed the area knowing that was the opportunity she could've had. "Karking hell." She said as the door burst open. There was only one way down now and she was unsure of it.

Teresa hadn't gotten the hang of the appendages that stuck out from her back, but she had little choice. The black wings spread wide as she took a leap. In a matter of seconds vollys of blaster fire rained down upon her. She'd managed to glide a small distance before a bleeping of a horn went off erratically. Distracted she'd look to the oncoming speeder. In that moment she began to fall as the wings pulled in slightly taking her balance away. Those below would hear a scream and those who looked up would possibly see her body paint the floor red.

"Look at all this life, oh child of mine...there is so much left to burn."

The winds whispered serenity throughout the golden ocean. For what felt like the first time in forever a weight from Xer's soul had been lifted and her steps as she meandered on the world which reminded her of home were light and free despite her heavyweight frame. It felt strange however, being an alien in a place she felt home, but still so different from what she had remembered...what she wanted. The scorching desert gave her comfort, but this world...it simply felt...inferior.

Xer carried many regrets, but none more than the words she never said, or the things she never did. It was Varix who, on the day the Purge came in with brave resolve to fight with Xer. It was her brothers and sisters that stood in the face of Chaos and relented. And yet despite that defeat came swiftly and without mercy. And when the world had seemed like it was going to end so suddenly, she had run away, rather than face an absolution. She choose to save her children...and still she was taken, and her precious sons reaped from her. If she deserved forgiveness Xer would not accept it.

She may of lost her sons, her freedom...and her home. But even then she refused to submit to the will of any other being. She was the one and only authority and to hell with anyone or anything that had the gull to tell her otherwise. She had risen from the chains of slavery and obliterated every obstacle in her path...and now it was time to build something for herself; for her people...for her newborn daughter. She had been a refugee for far to long, she wanted a new home. A home in which she reigned as Prime.

And Tatooine was looking like a worthy candidate to host her people until she began exploring its wretched population. Filth running through the streets and beggars scuttling among the sands. It was almost repulsive to her, and as she stomped through the cities roads the massive woman took a small pause to observe her surroundings carefully, wondering if there was anywhere she could go for a drink.

Then, from the skies below she heard shouting and cries shrieking downward. Immediately she flinched from the sound as it rang in her ears. Turning around and lifting her head upwards to see what in gods name had made the sound, the first image she was met with was some creature falling from the sky and directly towards her. Xers expression remained rather neutral as she reached out towards the thing falling towards her. And with a swift swoop snatched it out the sky by some of the fabric on its back, holding the creature up to eye level with her as she stared through the visor of her helmet and inspected the small...thing?

Her tongue slipped past her full lips, through the gaps of her helmet and lingered close to the creatures face. Tasting the chemicals in the air, Xer came to the conclusion she was holding a humanoid female...a girl. Xers prehensile tongue withdrew back into her helm and rested in her mouth, her expression shifting to curiosity as she lifted her head and stared up at the sky as she spoke.

"Why are you...falling?" She asked, trying to figure out where she had come from before glaring back at the girl, waiting for an explanation as she held her several feet above the air.

Her body spun around and around unable to make something out till suddenly coming to a jerking stop. Teresa couldn't make anything out below as it was a spinning blur. In moments she had thought it was going to be her end, but that was not her fate. A sudden jerk shook through her body and the fabric around her chest tightened. The fabric squeezed her breasts creating a grate deal of discomfort.

Teresa felt dizzy unable to focus as everything still felt like it was spinning. Her wings had gone limp like the rest of her body. She couldn't move a muscle. As her vision came back less blurred she could make out the golden armour and a tongue reaching out close to her face. The first thoughts was that she was alive and breathing. Then a question came. One she knew how to answer but at the same time didn't. "I... Uhh, was left little choice and tried to fly I guess or glide. Depends how you.. Urm look at it." She said trying to find the words to simplify her situation with the most minimal of information. "Thanks for the save. Also mind putting me down?" The girls eyes looked up and down at the person who held her. The woman was much bigger than her in every way. It was a little Intimidating yet she didn't feel as intimidated like most others would.
