NAME: Rika Hassan
FACTION: Unaligned
RANK: Knight
SPECIES: Shard housed in a HRD
AGE: Early 20s
SEX: Has no gender but identifies as female (She/her pronouns)
HEIGHT: 5'6"
WEIGHT: Appears to be thin, weighs a lot more than you'd expect.
EYES: Amber (Original Droid Host was Blue)
HAIR: Red, though varies (Original Droid host was blonde)
SKIN: Ivory and tattooed
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
STRENGTHS:
NATURAL IMMUNITIES: Given that Rika is a shard within a HRD she is immune to poison, radiation, noncorrosive atmospheric hazards, and vacuums.
INTELLIGENT: Rika is young for a shard she has had time to learn when she grew in her colony cluster. With the shared memories of her fellow shards, Rika has learned through mass memory. Once freed of her cluster Rika’s thinking grew faster, no longer inhibited by the cluster she began to think quickly, allowing her intelligence to soar in high-pressure situations.
COOL UNDER PRESSURE: Having nothing much to fear, Rika does not buckle like most people would in daunting or terrorizing situations.
WEAKNESSES:
WANDERLUST: Due to her patient, sedentary nature, the once patient Shard has grown into a travel-loving creature now that she has two legs to call her own. Rika cannot stand to be in one place for a long time. If she spends too long in one place she will get the itch to leave and will do so without warning any she might form relationships with.
LACK OF NATURAL HEALING: Rika’s body needs to be repaired, she cannot benefit from the natural healing that almost all living biological beings possess. To fix any damage she needs to find someone who can repair droids or use the force to repair her injuries.
MORAL COMPASS? PLEASE: Rika's moral compass is skewed, right and wrong are subjective in her eyes and her choices are questionable at best. It might be that she's naive, it might be that she just doesn't care. No one really knows.
NO FILTER: Rika speaks what's on her mind, she has no problem opening her mouth and offending someone.
APPEARANCE:
Rika was a beautiful young woman with large blue eyes and sometimes messy blonde hair. She stood at almost six feet tall and is mostly all legs. Rika is extremely thin and looks to weigh a little over 100 pounds, however, she is a lot heavier than she looks. Outwardly Rika looks like any other person and seems to function just like a person, however internally it is very obvious that she is a Human Replica Droid. There are modifications made on the droid body that allow the shard crystal to fit comfortably within the cranium of the HRD, allowing Rika to interface with ease.
Changes
Recently Rika has taken up a new Human Replica Droid that she had become fascinated by. This new droid was a faulty model that was meant to be trashed however Rika got her hands on it. Whatever this droid was before it became Rika's new body is a mystery. She spent some time fixing it before she made her move into her new home. Now she stands at around Five-foot six inches, 120 pounds, and sports a vast array of tattoos that cover 90% of the droid's body.
BIOGRAPHY:
Rika grew on Orax thousands of years ago. It grew as a cluster shard and shard a cave with plenty of others just like it. Rika had no name, no gender nor did it identify as any sort of gender. It existed. It was. It was patient, careful, and introspective. It wondered about the world beyond its cave and clusters and it felt the force pulse life through its mineral core. He came from Corellia. In search of secrets and armed with a Shard translator he found the clusters deep in the caves. He found It. It had never seen a human this far in the caves, only shared the collective memories of the shards It grew from. It was intrigued. It wanted to know more. It asked to be taken with him. He obliged.
He had an idea.
The moment he took it from its group mind was the moment It claimed to be alive. It had so many questions, it wanted to walk, it wanted to be like Him. The Scientist. He obliged and gave it a body. A tossed aside droid with a fried core. A replica droid with pretty features and a broken body. It latched onto the droid. It named itself Rika and It was alive! Rika learned and observed from the Scientist. Rika named itself and learned what it was like to simply exist. Rika learned of gender and ownership of oneself and for once in her long life she evolved into a being, she gained a sense of self and realized how vast and empty space really was and how small she and her scientist were. A new feeling evolved at that moment, dread lay heavy on her mind, how could she explore the universe if it was so vast? How could she devour every experience if she was rooted? Then came pity for her fellow Shards, that they would never know the world beyond the caves, living long lives with only the memories of others to live off of, and then she learned those memories were never hers, but these memories she began to create? Those would be her stories and she would live her newfound life as best she could, she would bring those memories back to Orax one day and share what she had learned.
Experiences distracted her and she grew listless, Rika hated staying in one place for a long time and as she drifted along she realized that there was one course of action. A life of piracy seemed suitable for the adventure she craved and the thrill of living. That was short-lived when the ship that was hers crashed after a battle over a drifting ship. The ship crashed on a planet and Rika was badly damaged. She was picked up by a stranger who repaired the droid's body and set off to sell her for some credits. However, plans changed when the frigate he and several others were on had an issue. Rika and the man that repaired her were placed in stasis.
While she adjusted to life outside of stasis she drifted from those she woke with, Rika began to explore. This came in many forms. As a passenger in some instances, as someone looking for jobs in others. Yet the one pivotal moment for the Shard came when the liner she was traveling on came under attack by pirates. Rika did little to stop it, let alone help. Instead, she observed and took a liking to the very idea of these lawless space people. So she did what any sane (or not sane) creature would do. Ask to join them.
They should have told her no. It didn't matter. She was useful. She had a place. So. She found a new colony as she called them. Not that she would trust any of the pirates she worked with a friend let alone a family. Instead, she sold them out, took their things, and did her own pirating at the expense of those who actually trusted her.
