Private Rings of Ikrubi

N.A. N.A.

Harkrova I wasn't a place many went to. The restoration teams of jedi though based out of Ahch-To liked a chance to find the older temples and deploy small teams or individuals who would be able to go out there and report to them. Zhenhua was able to head out and check one of the lesser ruins they found information on... mostly that it existed but had at one point been used as a storehouse. The ship that was bringing her more or less piloted by the biot droids when she moved around. The four legs on the metal floor clattering. The ship came in easily enough and she was looking out the window. her massive frame and stature was uncomfortable in the ships bay but she knew that once she got planetside she would be able to move around and feel the wind in her hair.. the grass beneath her hooves and most importantly she would be able to stretch out without smacking a hand or her head into the metal that had no real give.

The doors opened and she could feel the first chill of the air rushing in as her tail swiped from side to side. She went out and ducking under the frame as she came out and stood there for a moment. Her hoof digging into the ground and getting a feeling for the planet. The gravity was mostly normal and she moved at first stretching after being in the ship for so long she didn't have much in terms of movement space. The cramped quarters were comfortable for normal sized people... but she her who was in many cases twice or even three times their size she had been cramped. The equipment pack over her shoulder and her saber on her hip as she found her stride and was moving with a grin o her face. The scents around her came as she stopped under one of the trees and her scanner was detecting small animals and fruits that she took to eat.

How she ended up entangled with another Chironian was a whole other story, but the two of them had arrived on Harkrova's moon together. In search of some Jedi Temple. Edej still didn't fully comprehend what this freaky "Force" stuff was, or who the Jedi were. But Zhenhua, sharing her same species, was quick to earn Edej's trust in that respect. She was curious to see the Padawan in action, accompanying Zhenhua in this little exploration.

The moon was unlike anything she had ever seen, outside the ship's window as they descended through the atmosphere. The vast expanse of wilderness made her heart flutter in memory of home, though the cyan-colored forests bore no resemblance to Sanctuary's. Swooping onto the surface, the ship docked, and Edej cautiously descended the ramp after Zhenhua, poking her head forward to glance about her surroundings before stepping out of the shadows entirely, away from the safety of the ship. She carried a backpack on her shoulders and saddlebags harnessed to her sides, though Edej hardly knew half the items that had been stuffed into them, only that they were useful things that she and Zhenhua might need for their journey.

She wrinkled her nose at the metallic odor coming from the trees, quickening her pace as she stuck closely beside Zhenhua, though Edej was just as easily distracted herself by the new sights of the area to let herself wander a few paces behind, whenever Zhenhua would pause to examine things with her scanner.

"No!" Eyes widening in alarm, Edej rushed over to smack Zhenhua's hand from touching one of the strange fruits. "Bad food!" Her Galactic Basic was limited under pressure, all the more emphasizing her Chironian accent. But those that knew Edej and could sense her emotions, the wave of panic and concern, her intentions were clear. Don't eat strange things! What if it's dangerous? Even if the scanner had deemed the fruit safe, Edej still didn't put her confidence in a hunk of beeping metal. In her mind, she was attempting to save Zhenhua from possibly poisoning herself.

She was surprised when the hand came to move the fruit and take it from her... at first she thought she had wanted something but then she was it might be dangerous and Zhenhua stood up taller with a raised eyebrow before nodding ehr head. it was a risk that could have happened but the best way to test it out would have been to eat and scan it. A small bite but she spoke finally crossing her arms. "Perhaps but we might never know until we try." She said it but was looking at her and didn't grab for another one instead she was looking around and offered a tight lipped smile on her face so that the two of them could go. It was rare to see many of them out and about in the galaxy. Her tail twitched for a moment but she moved around and looked at the trees on the planet where she could see the grass. Edej was still new to the galaxy kind of it wasn't often that her species was seen so finding another was something grand... there was more to it but Zhenhua wanted to adventure and see the ten thousands of worlds that were open to their fingertips. "Do you want to lead the way?"

"Perhaps but we might never know until we try."

Edej huffed. She understood Basic far better than she was able to speak it, sometimes mimicking other people in order to convey her point across. "You might never know until you die." It was an expression of doubt towards the Padawan's optimism. Was a single fruit worth risking one's life over? Edej shook her head in wonder.

"Do you want to lead the way?"

Edej hesitated at first, nervous about being exposed to danger up front, but shortly mustered her courage and accepted the challenge with an affirmative nod. Zhenhua had her glowy fire-rod (lightsaber) anyway, so she ought to be safe with the Padawan keeping an eye out behind her. Right?

Reaching into one of her saddlebags, Edej pulled out a piece of paper—Paper. (Who in the galaxy still used paper these days?)—which she unfolded, holding out the two-by-two-foot sheet of parchment in front of her. Despite Zhenhua's attempts to show her how to read coordinates and navigate via datapad, Edej had taken initiative to draw her own map anyway, shrugging off technology as usual. Whereas language and communication often failed her, Edej had a photographic memory when it came to pictures, and was able to produce a near-perfect replica of the area Zhenhua had shown her on the holographic screen.

Gathering their whereabouts, Edej studied her map and the surrounding terrain, calculating the best path for them to travel to the Temple ruins. "There." Edej pointed in a direction, beckoning Zhenhua to follow with a tone of determination. "We go." She walked forward, proceeding cautiously into the wild.

SHe watched her and stayed there with a look on her face, prepared for anything and shaking her hair out in the small breeze so it swirled around her a moment. Then she was looking at the map and wanted her to switch and use a datapad.. the wrist ones were much much morereliable and they could tie it into the ship sensors to scan and gve them a much more detailed idea of the environment. Still she wasn't going to argue it Edej was skilled despite learning the language still as the forest gave slightly towards a large hill that wrapped around the main area where the temple was. The trees were massive and why they couldn't land a ship closer to the temple. The sounds of other creatures moving underfoot as she stopped and moved back a little but allowed herself to reorient with their environment. The rocks were soft and great for smashing but building with them no and she wouldn't use them for throwing to knock out prey. She was looking and the larger trees all seemed to blend into and obscure the path forward as she walked. "Tell me Edej, what are you planning to do now that you are off our homeworld?"
