Rival Cartels: Feng'arua'nuruodo vs. Lord Mettallum - Fleet Tournament Round 2

[member="Feng'arua'nuruodo"] vs. [member="Lord Mettallum"]

The simulation is extremely detailed, right down to the rust on the bridge consoles and the sweat on the alien crew around you. You command a Hutt cartel's private fleet. You stand on the bridge of a Seltiss-2 Caravel, beside the Hutt Lord who is your employer. To win this battle, the Hutt must survive. That might be a problem, since a Seltiss-2 is not the largest or most powerful ship known to Huttkind.

Your enemy commands an identical force.

You've encountered each other in the skies of Nar Shaddaa, above a grimy strata of cityscape. Think Coruscant, but disgusting. The local patrols and defense forces will not interfere; this is a battle between two Lords of Nal Hutta.

You begin just outside standard weapons range of each other.

OOC/ The battle will last one week, or until one of you concedes, or longer if both of you agree. If one of you fails to post within the first two days, a new opponent will be subbed in. Victory/defeat should be pretty straightforward for you to determine between yourselves; I'll pick a winner if both of you feel you've won.

Just great the hutt lord that Lord Mettallum is escorting wants him to take out the Hutts rival who seems to have the same ships

"ok I Lord Mettallum what SS Twi'lik to be infront of SS Slime. SS Slug and SS Snail please go to both sides of SS Slime. SS Ugly move behind SS Slime and 500 meters above"

Lord Mettallum really wasn't in the mood to waste time protecting a hutt but if he wanted the credits he had to make sure this hutt lives.

In huttese the hutt said

"remember droid if I lose any ships its coming out of your paycheck"

Lord Mettallum did a droid sigh and wished he could kill the hutt and not lose any money

"All ships make sure you have your shields up"

atleast Lord Mettallum was going to kill a different hutt

The Hutt that... Well, hovered beside him thanks to his over-sized chair grumbled, waving his fat arms around at the rival Hutt's fleet. Identical ships, likely on account of being from the same system. Garuan's crimson orbs floated over all those that looked to him for orders and after several moments of dramatic silence he gave his order.

"Bring us behind the HC Spider."

"Their slave ship is maneuvering in front of the Seltiss-2."

"Have the HC Beats forge ahead. Maximum range, and ascend three hundred fifty metres above our current trajectory." Garuan watched as the simulated being before him did as was ordered, twisting in his chair and spoke into what appeared to be a makeshift intercom. "We will not be the aggressors." As was instilled into many, if not all Chiss. As xenophobic as the Chiss were, it was within their military culture to not fire first, and to react to hostilities.

However... Instigating the opponent wasn't against their lessons.

"HC Predator and Sapphire to our starboard and port sides. Shields up." Garuan's dome rotated around to settle onto the Hutt off to his right. "All ships; Forwards." Facial expression continuously remaining blank, Garuan pressed his back into the uncomfortable command chair and quietly spoke to himself.

"And so it begins..."

Lord Mettallum really didn't feel like fighting with such pathetic ships and also didn't really know any tactic other then lightspeed ramming. Lord Mettallum got onto comms and hailed the other ship.

"Hello I Lord Mettallum will offer you this one time offer to surrender and not be killed now I Lord Mettallum know thats a pretty convincing offer but if you foolishly decline I Lord Mettallum will be forced to use brute force which may or may not include a ship jumping in hyperspace and ramming you. "

Part of Lord Mettallum wanted them to refuse surrender just so he could kill a hutt

"Release the ugly fighters and have them circle our opponents ships and tell them to be ready to attack on my order"

SS Ugly's hanger door opens to release all 12 very ugly fighters

"Both frigates move forward 100 meters and I Lord Mettallum want everyship to powerup fromtal shields"

Summary
SS Slug moves forward 100 meters
SS Snail moves forward 100 meters
SS Ugly released its ugly fighters
Ugly fighters circle opponents ships
All ships direct all shield power to the frontal shields

Garuan couldn't help but snort when the metallic voice of his opponent came up over the transmission. It wasn't visual, merely audio, though it was enough to get a smirk from him. Hello. He smirked, though he merely shook his head before he finally made a response, though it wasn't to his opponent, instead it was to his two helmsman. "Bring us closer to the Predator - Predator, deploy all ships." With the HC Control moving in closer to the Predator, it'd naturally pull them out from the three times larger bulk that was the slave ship, though it wasn't too consequential. The ship was small, fast, longer ranged weapons such as turbolasers would have difficultly hitting them - A lot more so in the coming minutes, if the plan that was forming in Garuan's mind played out perfectly.

This cat and mouse dancing around each other game had gone on long enough in the Chiss' mind. He was a man of action, and even though he adhered to the Chiss military culture of not firing first, he wasn't of the mind to wait any longer. It was only a simulation, yet, he'd stick as close to it as well as he could to win.

That's what the point of this was.

To learn, to win.

The Ascendancy had taught him that much.

"Sapphire -" He started through the intra-fleet communications channel. "Activate tractor beams, pull their Slave Ship out from the centre of their formation." It was a designated target in red through the private channel of the Chiss' fleet. Chances were, the SS Twi'lik would feel the larger ship pulling it off centre, or current course, as it was a larger ship, and that was merely how tractor beams worked. Based off of the forward momentum of the Sapphire - and the rest of the Chiss' force that was powering forwards... Garuan imagined it'd be felt through inertial dampeners, but, he was no scientist, so he didn't think on it.

"Beats," he went on to say. The ship had ascended to a height below the SS Ugly, which would've naturally put it underneath it's firing line. "Target their Seltiss." Of course, this difference in height would've also put the Beats in position with an angle that allowed it to fire directly upon the Seltiss. Should the tractor beam maneuver succeed, there would've been nothing in the way of the quad laser cannons that began firing.

"Predator, fire at the bridge of the ship." The SS Ugly was targeted. From underneath, it only had a limited amount of guns to actually fire back with. "Fire." And like the Beats, both ships opened fire on their respective targets, the other ships in the Chiss' taskforce remaining silent as the previously deployed ships from the Predator's hangar weaved in and out of the borrowed Hutt ships, mirroring the other Ugly's that were deployed from his robotic opponent.
