STANDARD FEATURES
  • The RM-103 is outfitted with all the features and facilities one would expect from a vessel of its size and purpose.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Rocksniffer Mk. II Sensor Package: Specialised sensor package manufactured specifically for Corex; excellent at detecting even trace amounts of minerals through thick rock formations but suboptimal at best when used in combat or scouting functions.
STRENGTHS
  • Herald of Fortune: A purpose-built asteroid miner like no other, the RM-103 is exceptionally well-suited for its little niche while remaining cheap and easy to manufacture in vast numbers... just don't expect it to win in a fight against anything bigger than a speeder bike.
WEAKNESSES
  • Cog in the Machine: Lacking a Hyperdrive and on-board refineries, the RM-103 is really only good for one thing - extracting minerals from asteroids before returning them to a home base or mothership for processing.
DESCRIPTION
The first and most fundamental component of Corex's Rockmaw-series mining vessels, RM-103s somewhat resembles
hyperdrive rings, though instead of docking vessels they dock cargo containers, usually ones able to hold 100, 150, or 200 cubic metres of cargo.

Primarily intended to bolster Corex's already expansive asteroid mining operations, the RM-103 is nevertheless available on the private market... albeit overpriced when sold to competitors. Don't worry, it's all perfectly legal.
