- Utter Destruction: The sheer size and power of the RMAD-M12 allow for it to give a base output of extreme damage from the principles of physics and size alone. Essentially, it's a big, bad gun.

- Fast-Moving Targets: The RMAD-M12, being the large weapon it is, is only able to effectively track and fire against large, slow-moving targets -- Star Destroyers and up, although smaller cruisers and frigates with large profiles and poor speeds and maneuverability may risk being targeted by the RMSD-M11. Either way, fast-moving ships that also have a small profile will be able to effectively dodge the battery.
- Large Profile: The RMAD-M12 is an extremely large weapon and thus an easy and obvious target for any opposition. This is somewhat mitigated, however, by the weapon's defenses.
Akin to the M11 Solar Ionization Battery and M5 Mass Driver Cannon, the RMAD-M12 Bralsingr Dual Orbital Autocannon is an extremely large and powerful weapon designed by Roble Manufacturing to be outfitted on ships of battlecruiser size. The size of the autocannon cannot be understated; the weapon is effectively the size of a light cruiser, making it massive compared to its peers.
Of course, with that large size comes larger power. The M12 features a dual-barrel design, and the autocannon does an extreme amount of damage when squarely hitting a target. The laser bolts' produced by the cannon are roughly sixty meters in diameter, meaning that starfighters and small craft that by happenstance get caught in the blast would be utterly incinerated without impeding the progress of the laser cannon. The M12 can do a high amount of damage against ground targets as well as space targets.
The size of the M12 is a huge detriment. The size and power consumption, as well as the overall mass of the weapon, means that ships smaller than a battlecruiser cannot physically install the weapon. In addition to that, it's large size makes it an easy and obvious target for opposition; however, this is mitigated by the fact that the M12 has a coating of Liquid Aenite that protects the weapon from EMP and Ion weapons, as well as a dedicated shield generator to defend against conventional weaponry. The large size of the M12 also means that the weapon cannot physically track and target fast-moving, small ships.
Altogether, the Bralsingr Dual Orbital Autocannon is a large anti-capital ship that has a large profile and even larger offensive output.
