Rock and Roll in a black hole.

Downtown, Coruscant.

"God damn, man! What are you fethin' doin'?!" Gravis snarled loudly over the large, heavily scratched table at the long-haired, six foot monster of a man playing the bass and doing a rather awful job. "Why the hell is your Bass not tuned?" Gravis asked, jerking his head back in order to get his long dreadlocks out of his disapproving eyes. "I-I-I...It's just...h-h-how I..." However, Gravis interuppted the man mid-sentence. "Get out." Was all the man said, groaning angrily as he slumped back down in his chair, pulling his worn cowboy hat down over his eyes. The band had been sitting here for hours, just waiting for a decent bass player. However, it seemed that Coruscant lacked a talented individual that owned and played the bass guitar. Outside of the building was a large, ripped poster that read in large, bold letters "BLACK HOLE ROCK N' ROLL! BASS GUITAR NEEDED!", thrown out in front of him was his custom Vasquez series electric guitar, which he played in his former band that was now disbanded due to disagreements about the genre of the band.

This had been Morgana's chance. Here she'd been, coped up in the Jedi temple with a perfectly good bass guitar she "borrowed" but never had the chance to really use. Often she'd just pluck the strings or play a little tune before bed but never actually getting the chance to join a band and really put it to work. That was before she heard the news and even saw the sign for Rock n' Roll in a Black Hole looking for a bass player. It was like fate had finally heard her problems and said "here you go".
Dressed in her usual black and red attire, looking like a goth rock girl herself, Morgana was waiting outside along with a line of other people. There weren't just humans but trandoshians, rodians, mon calamarians, even an ewok from what she'd seen. She was nervous of course. For all she knew she wasn't what they were looking for or she wasn't going to be good enough; though she'd be dead before letting an ewok beat her in a musical try out. Finally, after what seemed like a long wait, it was her turn.
Morgana simply came in and stood there, her case in hand, waiting to hear from the band's leader, [member="Gravis Vasquez"] what he wanted to know or hear from her.

Slowly raising the tip of his cowboy hat once again, his cold eyes were glued to [member="Morgana Forceborn"]. Sighing, he slowly pulled himself up before clearing his throat. "Name?" He would ask, his voice possessing no emotion. "Play when you are ready, and don't piss me off...I've already heard plenty talentless trash that have no business in the music business." After that, he finally went silent, staring at the woman, obviously irritated.

She first answered "Morgana Forceborn. And yeah, it's a real name. Not stage name."
After that she sighed as she readied herself before mentally prepping. Finally she began to play. What started as a few small strums began to grow into an explosive jam that hoped would impress [member="Gravis Vasquez"] . She was putting a lot of energy into it, strumming her fingers all the more while keeping her feet still and her focus on the notes. When she finished she waited to hear his verdict.

He continued to gaze at the woman, then back to the guitar, continuing to show no emotion. When the woman was finished, he stood silent for a moment before a grin slowly spread across his face. "Welcome to Black Hole Rock N' Roll." He'd say, slowly rising from his chair. "Also, I assume you learned finger picking first, correct? You did not start with a pick, right?" He'd ask, slowly gripping the top of his hat to slowly remove it and place it on the table. "You ever heard any of our music?" He'd then head over to the woman, examining the bass. "Mind if I...see that?" He said in a slightly less irritated tone.

Morgana almost felt like her heart stopped when he said she was in. A huge grin went over her face and a sigh of relief went out of her lips. As he walked over and asked her questions she answered "Yeah. I started with the fingers first. I had a pick but...lost it." She didn't want to go into HOW she lost it, however. After that she answered "I've heard a little bit about your stuff. I went to a concert once too. You were pretty good." And then finally handing over her bass and saying "Sure."

He slowly set the bass on the table and after a quick examination of the strings, the neck, and the body of the bass he gripped onto the neck and slowly lifted it into the air. He then passed it back to the woman. "Let's see if that is true, shall we?" He asked. He then lifted his own guitar, throwing the strap over his shoulder and lifting the pick. "I'll start us off."

Taking her bass back she watched as [member="Gravis Vasquez"] started things off. She nodded before plucking down one string, seeing she needed to tune for a second, before nodding she was ready. she followed up his with a long flow of heavy notes after the other, one strum after another and another.
(Couldn't find a clip, because I have to run to work lol)

"Alright..." He muttered to himself, before beginning to jump into a song. He quickly tossed his fingers around the neck of the guitar, bending strings and heading over frets. However, his playing began to slow and he began to play.
