Usually, this is by defeating pirates in battle, the bane of Talravin. However, there are some amongst them that have fought other noble Houses in small wars. Each Rose is therefore not a stranger to battle, and blooded. They are experienced with their chosen vibroweapons, the signature weapon of a Talravani warrior. However, while they may be experts in close quarters combat, they have no solution to ranged fighters, especially those with blasters. They depend on supporting units in that case for cover, or the Roses can be wiped out by a few yahoos with blaster pistols.[/SIZE]
- Description: 'Roella's Roses' is the name given to a group of Talravani knights that left their homeworld to join their crown princess on her quest for glory. Whispers of Roella's movements and actions in Wild Space have reached Talravin, and there are those that glorify her actions, seeing them as a sign that Talravin should reach out to the galaxy at large, finally breaking the isolationist outlook they have maintained for thousands of years. Supporters of this idea, and of Roella, came in the form of Roella's Roses. They flocked to her banner, pledging themselves to her service, taking on the name of 'Roella's Roses', for the sigil of her House. As such, all of these Knights have placed a symbol of a rose somewhere on their person. They are devoted to their princess, and would follow her into the gates of the Void if she but promised them glory.
