The Haruspex
Recently, I've seen a lot of statuses from members praising others for interesting threads and what amazed me was the number of times it was praise for a thread said member was not even a part of. On a board so large and with so many members it is easy for us to all to get isolated in our groups, never read anything besides those things we're part of, or simply to never see a great character who totally deserves our attention.
I thought I would make this thread as a place for all of us to point out...well, anything you see on this board that you think is deserving of recognition. Read a killer thread that left you wishing it was a real book? Link us. See someone being friendly or accommodating to other members? Give them their due praise. Writing with someone who gives you such awesome replies that you can't stop thinking about the thread when you should be doing anything else? Definitely link us.
My hope for this thread is to uncover some fun reads, encourage creativity and teamwork, balance any salt for a healthy diet, and to help people connect with new writers they may not have before.

I'll start.

Rules
- Tell us about whatever is cool. It can be an individual member, a Faction minor or major, Staff, a submission you see to the Factory or Codex - anything.
- You can link threads you're a part of if you're writing with someone new or you're really just blown away by your writing partners, but try to keep this to praise for someone you're not buddies with.
- Link us to the thread/submission in question and leave us a short explanation as to why your mind is blown.
- This is like Posting Games - please come back and post here however many times you want, as often as you want.
I'll start.
- [member="Irajah Ven"] - I've just had the pleasure of threading with Ms. Ven for the first time and I am so, so glad I did. I've wanted to write with her since seeing how she handled the huge task of DMing an entire section of an Event campaign, constantly keeping me on my toes. I love that she always gives me something to work with for every reply, a thought or action, a piece of dialogue or scenery that gives me something to be inspired by. A creative character with unique motivations, I always find myself clicking on anything I see her writing in.
- [member="Maleagant"] & his alts - We've got a ton of cool Sith on this site. Though I don't write with him (yeah I know we had that one thread, stop looking at me like that), this dude consistently blows me away with complex characters. And I always click on anything he submits to the Codex. Every submission is well thought-out and super stylish in its presentation. Come on now. Look at this.
- [member="Darth Abyss"] - I would like to take a second to draw attention to one of the cooler people OOC on this board. Every time I've had to PM him about something, even if it was to do with current salt elsewhere on the board, he's been super friendly. I don't see a lot of people actively trying to defuse situations or stay out of them altogether, but this guy right here. Also, sweet character though.
- In The Darkest Heart - Feeling like I'm getting my heart ripped out watching Revenge Of The Sith all over again, [member="Coci Heavenshield"] and [member="Connor Harrison"] write a story of betrayal and doing what's best for the Galaxy. Coci, I've never written with you in anything that wasn't an invasion/skirmish but I loved your character's thought process as she did something she knew would hurt a man who used to be her friend, for the good of the galaxy and himself. Connor, a board where so many people seem to attach their ego to their character's force rank, it's refreshing to see someone take such a leap as to have the Force taken from their Master character entirely. Great reading.
