Anyway, now that I've gotten my quote for goofyness for the day out of the way and introduced you all to my poor sense of humour as a warning about any future poor jokes I may make, I'll turn serious. As I mentioned in the newspost that should be going up directly after or before this post if everything goes to plan, I'm making my return to the site after taking a hiatus that lasted a couple of months and was caused by some serious health issues. Currently, one of my main focuses, beyond getting back into the flow of writing, is to help breathe some new life and activity into this Faction, but then, I would hope that I explain this in the newspost (as of this moment, I haven't even started writing it, just noted down what points I want to cover). As part of this focus I've decided to see just how many of you remain as active members, hence the Roll Call. All that I ask is that you either post bellow or send me a quick PM. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Now then, the second part of this thread; the questions. To save time (and because I don't really know how to set up a poll, but "shh" about that, eh?) I would like to ask that you involve an answer to the following questions in your post bellow, or your PM. This isn't mandatory, but I'm still trying to find my feet as Faction Owner and this would greatly help and I would be highly appreciative and thankful for said help. That said, the questions are as follows:

• What do you want to see?

Fairly simple really. What sort of Faction threads do you want to see? While I have a few ideas of my own, I would love to hear the opinion of the sheep masses (#BadHumour) as well as see creative ideas. Maybe a mass training thread is what you want? Or a social thread letting new and old Assassins interact and be introduced to each other? Or maybe you have a specific idea in mind that you would love to see brought to life. Feel free to answer with anything at all, there isn't any idea to absurd or wrong (unless you involve unicorns, then, just ... no, just no (#BadHumour)).

• Base of operations?

Again, fairly simple really. i'm thinking that, since we lost our base of Coruscant, that the Sith Assassins should find a new home base to operate out of. And, while I myself am partial to the idea of creating a fleet that would be constantly moving, one person does not make a Faction. So, what would you like to see as our base of operations.

Actually ... Subquestion: While the suggestions will be put forwards in an OOC format, would you all be interested in seeing people debate the pros and cons of the suggestions through an IC thread?

• Finally: What do you see as the future of the Faction?

The Sith Assassins have long been associated with the One Sith, however, with their impending weakening and death, a chance for this Faction to explore new story lines has appeared and I think that we would be remiss to let it pass by. Now, while I do have something planned out as FO, I would like to hear the thoughts and opinions of the general members on this matter as, as I said above, one person does not make a Faction. If you are curious, I shall write down what I currently have planned in a spoiler bellow.

The current plan is for the SA to become a truly independent group of Sith that specialise in Assassination that will loan their services out to different Sith Factions in the fight against the Light (and maybe other Sith Factions if the compensation is good enough). Of course, at this stage, that is as far as the plan has got, mainly because I'm holding off taking it even further until other members of this Faction get to weigh in with their own thoughts.

If you end up giving an answer to even one of the above question, then I greatly appreciate your help. I do not know if I will actually mention this in the newspost, so forgive me if I do (after all, as said above, I have yet to even start said newspost), but this is the first time that I have such a position of authority on this site and I would like to help forge this Faction into something that its members find enjoyable, something that I can only do with your help. So thank you in advanced.

I don't have enough time to answer all questions right now (but will do so later ... probably), but I really want to say how much I like the idea of a fleet as a main base. It's so simple but also so good, hard to find, easy to hide. It just has everything an assassin group could need.

As an addition to it I would propose a group of assassin hiding in plain sight, living under fake names and ids that are ready to strike. Kinda like sleeper agents. Communication of those individuals could be by simply hiding codes in innocent holonet messages or something like that.

We have spoken together on Skype as to what I suggest as the way forward for the Sith Assassins, but I figured I'd put my voice to words here as well.

What would I like to see?
I would like to see the Sith Assassins making good on their name by doing exactly what it suggests: Assassination, subterfuge, shadowy backstabby stuff. This is not only a plea to the faction owner, but to the every cell in this organism. A faction's activity and reputation must be maintained. A faction that does not produce writing is dead.

Base of operations.
A fleet would be bloody badass. An IC planning thread would be a nice way of connecting and initiating it if you have parties interested in participating. Otherwise, it's a waste of time.

Future of the faction.
As the FO of the One Sith, I support this. It makes sense for this shadow-organisation to detach themselves from a group that is tearing itself apart. Without loyalties, you get opportunities: Play the sides; trade information; cross and double-cross; spread the corruption of the Dark Side like a cancer in what is otherwise good and light. That is the future I want to see for this faction.

That said, if you also happen to have any advice I would be grateful to hear it as I'm honest enough with myself to admit that I'm extremely nervous about how good a job I might be able to do.

Also we got few minor factions joining together to do a raid, on the GA a lightside military power.
Kaine is making a faction to push for major, and SA are involved.
Also at some point I like to do a rebellion which I am sure SA will be involved in, plus there always the bounty on the outback if you wish to try.

You will do fine my friend. Your ideas have always been good. Just be confident that you are taking things in a good direction, and press activity and you will be awesome! I would say that if the OS is dying, or not, it makes no sense for us to be the SITH Assassins if we are not there for the bidding of the Sith. If we are independent then we are just a force user assassins guild made up of Sith with different ideas of what it means to be Sith. We could focus on lore creation as to why that works? I have always been for more story, less conflicts. Conflicts lead to drama, and story leads to fun. This means planning and everyone playing their part coming to this faction with no agenda other than to tell story.

I avoid invasions, and PvP unless it is one on one. Too much drama for my liking. Look me up for Doms... otherwise I sit out of most faction activity unless it is story driven... I believe any of the old guard could confirm thats an accurate account.

Might I ask as to what you have in mind when you mention lore creation?

Also, if you ever have any suggestions for a story we, as a Faction, could pursue, please feel free to throw up a post here; it's why I set up the thread in the first place after all.
