Romancing the Jewel (PM for invite)

The Jewel of Yavin was one of the most valuable gems in the galaxy. Dating back to the Galatic Civil War it was said to have been discovered during the fighting before being smuggled off-planet. For years upon years it had been lost, only to finally be discovered and brought to Courascant where it was held within one of the Galatic Historical Museums. For the longest time it was kept under heavy gaurd as time had made it all the more valuable. Of course attempts were made to steal it, but all had failed in the end. When Courascant fell to the Sith the Jewel was suggled off-world where it was sold to a twi'lek philanthropists named Adar Bellugus. The twi''lek kept the Jewel of Yavin with him at all times, often taking it out for display when holding parties or the like.
However things had changed when Adar had recived a message from the infamous Aria Perugia. One of his holo-screens was hacked with Aria apperaring and saying "Good evening, Mr. Bellugus. Hope I' not interupting anything but I wanted to let you know that you're currently in possession of something I find myself wanting. The Jewel of Yavin. Now I can understand a man of your status not wanting to give it up so easily, which is perfeclty understandable. But you see I feel you need to learn to share. So this is fair warning to let you know I'll be coing for it. In exaclty three days from now. I hope you'll keep it ready for me." When the screen went back to it's original program Adar instantly jumped from his seat and made prepatations.
The twi'lek made plans for boarding the next galatic luxury liner to Bespin where he hoped to lay low and off of Perugia's radar. A private room was made with a hidden safe. That was where Jewel of Yavin was kept with only his ID able to open it. The trip would be only four days, meaning if Perugia was going to strike she would've had to have been on the liner already. While Adar was confident that he was far enough away from her he didn't know that she was already on the ship waiting for him.
Aria had everything planned out, even to where she hired a few accomplices along for this little heist. She ordered for all of them to lay low on the very first day and await until the exact day itself. When that day came it was a black tie dinner event being held by the captian within the large dining room of the ship. Adar was seated not too far from the captains table with his own little crowd of friends and assosicates. Waiters and waitresses took and served orders while a band played smooth music for the night. Aria and her people were already inside one way or another. She'd given them all comms to stay in touch before any had made it on-board. She, however, was hidden the entire time, not even letting them know where she was. She'd given hints here-and-there but needed to keep silence as much as possible. It was clear Adar hired a few people of his own to make sure the Jewel stayed safe. Aria didn't see this as a problem so much as making it all the more fun.

This was an interesting way to make some credits, even admitting to it seemed strange in the long run. Defending a man who had been told he was going to be stolen from. Ha it not been something that had happened before with Warlow, might not be one to believe it. That was why defending this twi'lek was going to be more fun then anything.... Aria didn't like the massive explosions and bodycount that might appear.... but this also wasn't a hutt with a palace full of criminals so she might change her tactics up just a little bit while walking the hallway in the room. "All clear." Shouting it back to the others who had been fired before returning to look the room he was in over, we'd made sure there wasn't a window to sneak through and bypass going near us at least.

She had never been one for luxury. Of course her parents were wealthy beyond all measure. She had never wanted or needed for anything in her life and in fact many would have seen her as spoiled. Aela's parents had not one, but two homes most would consider to be fortresses, and her room was larger than most living rooms.

Of course she had never thought of this.

Yet in all her years of living, she had never taken a luxury liner before, until now.

Aela had taken this vessel for one simple reason, she had need to travel. Normally she would have taken her own ship, the Rising Tide, but The Covenant was in greater need of it than her, and instead of using a public cruiser like her mother would have done, Aela thought it would have been easier to blend into the crowd of a luxury liner.

She had been right.

No one had questioned the well dressed and groomed eighteen year old.

No one had asked her any questions, which is of course what she had wanted. Questions were bad, especially when you were the leader of an organization that fought the Sith. They had agents everywhere after all.

What was he going to do now, this was another vacation trip gone right? He came here to get some stress off his back, but he also was interested in the jewel of Yavin. Then he was contacted by someone from his past for a job offer to help steal such a relic. So he played the part of the naive guest that was enjoying the complete package. Pool, exotic buffets, wines, shuffle board, conga lines and everything else it offered!

This was his primary plan, but he was keeping an eye on security measures. It would seem that they would be waiting until the day off, it was odd. Yet, it made things more like a magic trick to disappear in thin air was quite something. When the day finally came around, he wore a nice black suit showed off his better features with a nice fedora. Grimm waited for his meal to appear, with a nice glass of wine for him to savor as he waited around mingling with some guests at his table.

The diner proceeded normally thus far. The waiters and waitresses had come around fulfilling the orders needed. Adar had nodded when his drink was served before awiating his meal, laughing it up with some of the guests at his table. During that time he noticed [member="Willa Isard"] checking around the place. He felt reassured having hired her to help keep both himself and the Jewel of Yavin safe. Apparently she had some history or other with Aria Perugia, but if she was here under his payroll than it meant she wasn't exaclty loyal to her in the least. He tried not letting that bother him as he continued to enjoy the evening. He did not tell anyone else about the warning given by Perugia, mainly because he did not want the scandal if she'd managed to actualy steal his jewel.
Drinks were served to the others, Willa, [member="Grimm"] , [member="Aela Talith"] and so forth. All were being done by someone who seemed to be a new waitress, given how she was muttering to herself to remember how to serve and refill without making a fool of herself. Or how she was trying hard to scamble for her notepad when jotting down orders. She seemed flustered more than anything else, as of she was nervous about something.
A few minutes after Grimm had his drink given Aria would contact him over his private comm, saying "Mr. Grimm. Glad to see you're enjoying the party. Are you ready for tonight? I've got y best dancing shoes on."

The place was a haven for problems, as we were working to protect the man and his jewel the few bits of information and recollection on her way of working. Aria was a dangerous one because she knew what and how to work some of the things so she could sneak around which was why checking them closer was important. We did't want to let a mysterious crewmember who was her in disguise close to bypass us. So as dinner came abstaining from the drinks was more important, a bite here or there but never a full plate of food and always staying at attention to look for Aria.

Grimm was calm at his seat, he wasn't giving himself away. When he got his drink, he slowly took a nice sip of the red wine. Savoring the taste, then swirled the drink in the glass. Noticing the new waitress having an issue, wondering what it meant?

Then came the voice over the comms.

"Very much so, as for me. I'm always ready to dance, my dear." He said with a smirk on his face, as downed the rest off his wine.

"Good." came a reply from the other end. "Then just keep on standby. Once the music starts playing I want you to head down into the hull and put the breaks on the ship. If you know what I mean."
After that Aria went silent. Even if he tried there would be no answer from the otherside. Aria had said before this little task started that they had to maintain tight radio silence whenever possible. While the band was still playing it was clear there would be a point when Aria would make her move or signal for [member="Grimm"] when to act. In the meantime more of the regular extravagence was enjoyed by the guests, more drinks being served while the music was still playing soft and relaxing. Finally an announcment came out that rang through the room.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we're pleased to annouce the dance floor is open to any wishing to share the light with a certian special someone. And here to start us off is a little number shout out to Mr. Adar Bellugus. Hit it boys!"
A snap of the fingers rang out. A spotlight shone in front of the band, revealing a woman in red with an all-too familiar wide-brimmed hat. She was dressed all nice and fancy for the party as well. She turned, looking to Adar and winking. The twi'lek gasped and knew who it was. It was odd that Aria was out in the open like this, no one knowing right away who she was; at least those unfamiliar with her. Regarldess she seemed calm and confident as she began to sing, much of the audience beomcing enthralled by her performace.

There was a certain flare here while watching and seeing it, this had to be her doing and then the lights came on while hands motioned and the click of the holster came. Raising it into the air while in the darkness of the room finally seeing her again as the hiss came, the plating of the helmet, the hood going up over the helmet and sensors activating. The red hat was what was important and finally prepared while moving towards the man. "Need to move, defend the client."
