The Jewel of Yavin was one of the most valuable gems in the galaxy. Dating back to the Galatic Civil War it was said to have been discovered during the fighting before being smuggled off-planet. For years upon years it had been lost, only to finally be discovered and brought to Courascant where it was held within one of the Galatic Historical Museums. For the longest time it was kept under heavy gaurd as time had made it all the more valuable. Of course attempts were made to steal it, but all had failed in the end. When Courascant fell to the Sith the Jewel was suggled off-world where it was sold to a twi'lek philanthropists named Adar Bellugus. The twi''lek kept the Jewel of Yavin with him at all times, often taking it out for display when holding parties or the like.
However things had changed when Adar had recived a message from the infamous Aria Perugia. One of his holo-screens was hacked with Aria apperaring and saying "Good evening, Mr. Bellugus. Hope I' not interupting anything but I wanted to let you know that you're currently in possession of something I find myself wanting. The Jewel of Yavin. Now I can understand a man of your status not wanting to give it up so easily, which is perfeclty understandable. But you see I feel you need to learn to share. So this is fair warning to let you know I'll be coing for it. In exaclty three days from now. I hope you'll keep it ready for me." When the screen went back to it's original program Adar instantly jumped from his seat and made prepatations.
The twi'lek made plans for boarding the next galatic luxury liner to Bespin where he hoped to lay low and off of Perugia's radar. A private room was made with a hidden safe. That was where Jewel of Yavin was kept with only his ID able to open it. The trip would be only four days, meaning if Perugia was going to strike she would've had to have been on the liner already. While Adar was confident that he was far enough away from her he didn't know that she was already on the ship waiting for him.
Aria had everything planned out, even to where she hired a few accomplices along for this little heist. She ordered for all of them to lay low on the very first day and await until the exact day itself. When that day came it was a black tie dinner event being held by the captian within the large dining room of the ship. Adar was seated not too far from the captains table with his own little crowd of friends and assosicates. Waiters and waitresses took and served orders while a band played smooth music for the night. Aria and her people were already inside one way or another. She'd given them all comms to stay in touch before any had made it on-board. She, however, was hidden the entire time, not even letting them know where she was. She'd given hints here-and-there but needed to keep silence as much as possible. It was clear Adar hired a few people of his own to make sure the Jewel stayed safe. Aria didn't see this as a problem so much as making it all the more fun.
