Because of this, the population of Ropos on Hoth has always been extremely low - making them a very rare find.
- History: For most of their history on Hoth, Ropos remained unknown to the galaxy. Their population was extremely low, making them rare to find on Hoth when life was already hard to find. In the 800's ABY, several explorers re-charting galactic space came across the Ropos and gave them their name. A few even captured a few and sold them as pets in galactic markets.
