GENERAL INFORMATION
Rosalyn Dubois is the last surviving member of House Dubois, most of whom lost their lives during the Cataclysm that tore through Theed. Only to then lose her parents during the New Ways terrorist attack not long after. Rosalyn is an accomplished sharpshooter, known for her patience and calm under pressure. And while she is Force sensitive, Rosalyn has grown to resent her connection, and avoids relying on it as much as possible.

HISTORY
If you looked far enough into their history, you’d find the Dubois family were not originally from Naboo. They were forced to flee from their homeworld and ended up settling on the Mid Rim planet. Starting from scratch, the Dubois’ focused on rebuilding their name, carving out a place for their family on a new planet.. It took many many years, and countless generations, but eventually they were officially considered a part of Naboo nobility.
By the time of Rosalyn’s generation, the Dubois Family Tree had a healthy amount of branches. She was born into one of said branches, making her a cousin to Samuel, who was set to become the Heir Apparent. Which to Rosalyn? She was more than content with the fact.
It meant there was less propriety placed upon her. She could enjoy her hobbies, express her creativity, and explore to her heart's content. Much to the chagrin of other family members, but her parents always valued giving their children as much freedom as possible, within limits of course.
One particular hobby Rosalyn took a shine too was the same as her father and uncle, hunting. She was barely into her teenage years when she was following them through the forests, rifle in hands. Rosalyn proved herself to be a crack shot, which annoyed her brothers to no end. For a long time it seemed everything would be normal and peaceful.
Until the Cataclysm happened.
The Dubois Family were in Theed that day, celebrating Samuel’s eighteenth birthday. Every single person was there for the special occasion, only Rosalyn and her family were running a little late. Not that it mattered much, as her brothers still perished trying to defend and protect others.
All that was left were Rosalyn and her parents, who had only survived because she had unknowingly used the Force. Something they had noticed, but opted to not follow up on. Much preferring to look after their traumatised daughter.
However, their reprieve wouldn’t last for long, as barely a year and half later tragedy struck again. This time it was via the New Day, an anti-Force terrorist group that had chosen Naboo as the target for their new virus. Having been at the memorial, Rosalyn was infected by the virus. Not majorly, but just enough to swiftly make her bedridden. Her parents knew they could do nothing but rely on the healers and doctors to be able help their daughter. They were the type of people to always try and help others, and did just that.
Unfortunately, it would be the last time they’d see their child.
The Rosalyn that woke up from that nightmare was numb. For months she just closed herself off, both emotionally and literally. She was now an orphan, the last surviving member of her House. It might’ve been years since she had entered adulthood, but that did nothing to lessen the blow of such a loss.
It was only until someone from the Royal Security Corps came knocking, that Rosalyn finally allowed herself to step back outside. She had trained and worked with them in the past, having been previously recommended to join their ranks. But between everything that had happened, it ended up being pushed aside. Now that she had nothing in her life, Rosalyn decided to put all her focus and dedication into it. Proving herself enough to not just be offered a spot in the Shiraya's Vanguard, but as a Royal Protector too, should the need arise.
What was most paramount to Rosalyn however, was to uphold the beliefs and ideals her parents had instilled in her.
To protect others.

StrengthsPatient: An important quality to have as a sniper, but Rosalyn has developed an arguable scary degree of it. Capable of remaining at a vantage point for multiple hours on end, waiting for the perfect opportunity to take the shot. This also lends a hand during chaotic situations that need a more level head to deal with.Adaptable: Rosalyn is quick thinking, easily able to adapt to an ever changing situation. Be that from afar in a sniper’s nest, or right in the middle of it all going down. She’s been trained to be cool under pressure, to not let inaction lead to mistakes being made.Firearms Specialist: While the most proficient with a sniper rifle, Rosalyn is able to expertly handle a range of different weapons. Be they other rifles, blasters or pistols.
WeaknessesTrauma: Rosalyn has gone through a lot, the prominent one being the loss of her entire family. She tries to bury it deep down, but it’s not exactly difficult to drag it back to the surface. It can influence her decision making if faced with similar situations before her. It would be difficult for her to not immediately want to help someone who's dealt with similar trauma.Force Resentment: Due to her dislike/hatred of her Force connection, Rosalyn makes it a point to not rely on it when fighting. No matter how advantageous it could be, especially for sniping, Rosalyn refuses to use it whenever possible. -
