Rose above the noise and confusion

Jared Starchaser was still trying to find himself among the Fringe Confederation. He knew what he could do for the military, but having switched from being an Imperial Knight, to… wandering the stars again, that was different. It wasn’t bad, it was just different, familiar but not quite fulfilling. He knew that Lia was out there learning what she could, and that was when he sought his father, and the collective of the older generation on board the Dawn Treader. He was going to have to find some way to learn the Force.

And of course, his father had one idea. He had a few contacts, being the one building and keeping the ship and fighters in repair. That meant he knew too many people, and sure enough, there was one that might be able to at least move Jared in the right direction. The trick was, they were a nomad as well. One that came and assisted the Fringe, and flew Confederacy marked vessels. That was something different.

Taking a shuttle from the Dawn Treader’s pool, he was on a mission. He was looking for the Sv’yato Fleet. The first place, he was going to explore was the system of Tythe, rumor was that [member="Manu Xextos"] was involved around there. Was not a bad place to scout first.

Here went nothing. He pulled the sunlight engines into the main, and exited hyperspace, immediately broadcasting, what his father hoped was, a friendly IFF for the flagship of this fleet. Wonderful.

The grapevine grew faster than Manu would have expected for being out of the loop for eight hundred years. Then again, having a fleet of battleships on the border of the Confederacy of Independent Systems was the kind of position which would elicit 'connections'. Sitting in his ready room off the Command Floor, Manu watched the space beyond transparisteel and durasteel with a glass of blossom wine in hand.

The serendipity of life ceased amazing him a hundred years ago. Chatter had come to him that someone was looking for his fleet. He heard the mental chatter more than intelligence which made it his way via Lieutenants and data pads. Being out in space reminded Manu of his beginnings, his empathic childhood had fractured his family and caused them all to become nomads in space never to settle. In moments of leisure Manu let his barriers down, he unfurled the consciousness which had in toddler's years reached across planets. Orbit itself would cause him shudders but ultimately now filled with the remnants of his families long dead Manu felt peace in the halls of the Brynjar.

His people, and a few others punctuating for flavour. Now a new flavour came by, one he commed about. "Lieutenant Curran, allow that IFF tag to dock and give it entry vectors. I want to see its captain in my ready room promptly. Don't tell him my name."

[member="Jared Starchaser"] would be provided with an entry vector to the 1200M Flagship of Sv'yato Fleet, and be escorted to Manu's office.

For Jared it didn't really matter who was behind door number one. Or if they knew of him. As many people weren't aware of him. Very few people were. All that mattered was of he was making this trip for nothing. That and not getting blown up by the confederacy were important to him. With sunlight taking over and his ship.not being molecularly rearranged, he felt that was a good sign.

Meant the IFF was working as well. Smirking, Jared took the shuttle in for a pass as he heard the call providing him an approach vector. Acknowledging the information, he changed course for the hangar and soon landed.

Disembarking from the shuttle, in an imperial styled uniform, he saluted the welcome Wagon and agreed to follow them. Where exactly had hos father sent him?
