With the loss of Mon Cala and Hast to the forces of the Sith, The Directorate was forced to look for manufacturing facilities elsewhere in the galaxy. With its recent take over of the Imperial Forge Works, The Directorate gained rights to utilized the manufacturing facilities one and above the world of Ryloth.
While the Facilities have been raged by time, neglect, and poor management, The Directorate corporate partners have put a substantial amount of what resources it has left towards modernizing and restoring the world's manufacturing base to current galactic standards.
Sections of the orbital ring have been cordoned off for use by each of The Directorate's corporate partners and allocated for use by The Directorate as industrial zones for each of the corporations of The Directorate for their private use.
The largest section of the yard and the entirety of the world's planetary industrial power has been given to the people of Rothana and the newly formed Rothana Engineering Corporation. Based on the centuries-old Rothana Heavy Engineering, The newly formed and modernized company maintains its control of the day-to-day operation and the lion's share of its profits. This project will revitalize the ice-covered world which has seen centuries of hardship under failed Imperial states and criminal organizations.
With the world now in a partnership with The Directorate and its partner corporations, the future of the Ryloth and The Directorate are far more stable and look to be much more profitable.
