Many Jedi have gathered to witness the ‘battles’ between the combatants, from Padawans to Knights and Masters, all battling to see who will rise to the top, who will be the cream of the crop?, the icing on the cake?, the best of the best?. It is early morning, the sun has risen to herald a bright new day, avian circle in the Voss sky, the flowers are blooming and the bees are buzzing and there is excitement in the air. And lots of chatter ..

In the arena there is a seat at the end of the room, on which Grand Master [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] will watch over the tournament. With brushed back golden hair, beard trimmed and a set of sapphire blue eyes, and a calming demeanour, the grand master will cast those wondrous eyes upon his Jedi charges and step in if and I say IF, the duelling gets ‘out of hand’.

Before the duelling shall commence, each combatant will acknowledge his presence with a respectful bow and so to, to your competitor, before they begin.

You may begin!

The second Annual Silver Sanctum Coalition Tournament was about it begin, in George's first round he would have to climb mountains to achieve victory. As George waked into the arena, his robes sat clean, his headtails neatly placed down his back and his lightsabers attached at his hip. He looked at those who had joined them in this first round bout to watch the two master go at it. As he glanced around the room, he recognised the Grandmaster sitting in his chair ahead of the arena before turning his attention to his opponent he gave a slight smirk. Across from him sat wife of the Grandmaster, Master of the Order and George's very own master, [member="Coci Heavenshield"]. He had came a long way since the first time they had met and she had been there every step of the way. Now it was his time to show her what he had done since then.

George was both thrilled and nervous for his first bout in the tournament and against such an opponent would be a tough task. He turned to the Grandmaster giving him gracious bow before once again turning his attention to his opponent. Giving Master Coci a gracious bow as well. He held the Heavenshield clan in high regards and duelling one he held great respect for. "Well Master, may the best duellist win?" He said cheekily to his master as they prepared for the fight. He was against it here, but he would do the best he could, to prove himself against the master of masters.

She liked to travel light, always did. Walking to the arena in her black body suit with saber on the hip, Coci was here to meet a good friend of her's and fight. She had had the pleasure of training George and seeing him reach the rank of Master, she was proud of him. Never underestimate your opponent, never sit in complacency when facing someone you know well for George had been out there in the galaxy, faced many dangers and trials and who knew what tricks he had up his sleeve.

Entering the room, Coci firstly went to greet her husband with a smile before placing a soft kiss on his cheek. "One day I will get you on that floor", she whispered to him that only he would hear and gave him a cheeky wink.

Taking off her jacket she placed it on one of the bench around the wall before walking onto the platform where George awaited her. The hilt of her saber now held firmly in her palm, she ignited the purple blade raising it to her face in salute to George firstly and together they would turn to salute the grand master.

Black eyes as black as the night sky fixed on his, she said nothing. The only reaction to his words was a slight curl in the corner of her mouth, and she paced the floor in an arc, with her saber by her side. No standing on ceremony now .. and she waited.

As Master Coci greeted George and ignited her blade George pulled both hilts into his hands. Igniting them in unison he spun them in his hands before bring them down by his side. Blades pointed down, slightly back of him. His words seemed little to her, only a small change in her face told him of her understanding, but it was enough. The smiles were all round, the fight would be spectacular and in the end, the victor would be crowned.

Coci began paced around her side of the area, seemingly waiting on George. He would do the same, bringing his right blade up in a circle before holding it across it across his body. He moved to the right, having both his lightsabres on the side Coci was situated. The fight was going to begin slow. Both scoping each other out for a first move, an offence of defence both would be ready. But not much could be gathered from the Jedi Master, she had poker face of a champion, she gave nothing away.

George knew he would have to make his move in order to learn more about her fighting style, seeing neither had met in such a battle before. George lunged towards her, his left hand still by his side, but his right arcing back across her chest. She would undoubtedly parry it, but it would give a good start to see how the fight would develop.

As Coci was already on the move, her pacing deliberate in order to not be a stationary target, the parry did not come. Instead she stepped back arching her torso out of the way to let Georgie's blade pass by her chest. She felt the heat of the blade through her suit and heard the saber hum but she is more concerned with the second blade.

His first move had left his chest open, and as his arm passed her chest, she took a hand off her saber hilt raised it and funneled a push to the center of this upper body. The force push would be strong enough to send him backward, off balance as it would punch his chest, were it not countered. She had not released full power, this is a duel after all, not battle.

Coci is very good with the saber, and would fight till they both dropped with exhaustion, but today she would not. She extinguished her blade, and placed it back on her hip if required. Instead, she stood ready, her mind and body on alert. The force pulling to her she could sense him, his body and movement and she reached for him.

A conduit formed, tapping into his center and taking energy and power from him. Her arms held out to the side palms facing toward him, a thin line of blue energy crackled between them and entered her palms. She could feel the growing power within her which would soon be released back to him. Unless he stops her.

George's strike was dodged, but nothing about the fight so far was expected, no parry, instead a dodge. And with the dodge no lightsabre strike. George had prepared for a lightsabre strike as his off hand was waiting for her blade to come at him. But no, she let her hand off her hilt and created a small, but precise force push that was like a punch to the chest. He was a little behind and didn't manage to stop the strike. This pushed George back a few paces, stumbling as he fell. As he regained his balance he looked back up as he brought his sabres up into a defensive stance. But there was no flurry of attacks. Instead as he looked up Master Coci had extinguished her blade and stood there with no lightsabre... The fight was about to change.

George followed suit, extinguishing both blade and returning them to his hip. However as he did this Coci raised her hands, George suddenly felt a pull. Not so much of him, but whats within, his strength being pulled away. It was something new to him, something he hadn't felt or witnessed before. It took George a few moments but as he concentrated he managed to get inside himself and stop Coci from what she was doing. This left George concentrating more on himself than the match, leaving himself vulnerable for the moments it took to readjust back to the battle at hand.

As the tendrils of energy formed in her palms, she moved her hands to close the palms together about five inches apart to form a ball of blue pulsing power. George had stopped any more drain of energy from him, which she was delighted to see him do, but she had enough to do what she wanted and concentrating the ball to her right hand she pulled her arm back and in a forward motion threw it back at him. The ball swirled inwardly, and traveled fast with the force behind it toward his torso. Now lets see he put training into practice.

Once the ball had been released from her hand, Coci readied for what he might counter strike with. The energy ball was his with a little extra for good measure from herself to give it a fair kick were it to hit the target zone of his center.

In the room, the Jedi that watched them, standing on the edge of the platform, decided it might be prudent to move back.

As the energy stopped draining from George's body he looked up to see a ball of pure energy being hurled at him. He had no time to avoid it so he insensitively took his training on board. He pushed his arms out into the way of the ball, his mind cleared and focusing any energy he had left to his hands. A invisible web like formed between his palms, right in the way of the energy ball. George closed his eyes, letting the force guide him.

Suddenly he felt a rush, everything was coming back, only moments ago he was lost without anything. Now his eyes sprung open the energy he had received could be seen in his eyes. His body oozed energy, his body fighting to keep in control, at least long enough to effectively release it back at his opponent. He centres his eyes on Master Coci, his movements from there were fluid, one at a time his hands extended out, palms facing his opponent. Two small burst of force was released at his opponent, they weren't all powerful, but direct and enough to have unsteady the Jedi. After that his hands came together as he plummeted them into the ground. His hands hit the ground it began to shake. A fissure opened up at the base of his hands and ran towards his Jedi opponent. The first two were distractions for his last move, hoping this would give him the upper hand.

A smile formed on her face, she could sense the pull of the force to George, his body strengthen with every passing moment and she waited with full anticipation of what was to come. The first ball of energy flew toward her with great speed, her hands did not take long to gain position in which to catch it between her palms and she took the energy into her body which would sustain her for her next move. The second ball, only moments behind the first, she dodge by pivoting to the side allowing it hiss passed her.

She allowed a moment to watch it, zinging toward the crowd of Jedi lined around the room. She could see the looks on their faces, some with wide eyes and others diving to the floor to get out of the way. The sea of Jedi parted and the George's energy ball hit the wall, largely made of thin paper, ripping a large hole in the wood work and the and ignited into flame immediately. Several of the Jedi ran to try and extinguish the flames.

Mean while. Coci felt the sudden vibrations under foot, she turned back to her opponent to see him leaning to the floor palm pressed against it. The rip in the floor began to run toward her, opening up the foundation of the arena, and she fell through. Lucky for Coci, the floor did not sit to high from the ground but she was under the floor looking eye to eye with some kind of spider. She pulled her legs up under herself once more and through the opening she jumped high into the air and into the arena once more.

As she reached to zenith of the jump, her hands shot forward to release the taken energy from the first ball not in sphere of energy this time but in the form of a wall of power that if it reached it's mark, would flatten George to the floor pinning him there.

As his second shot missed it created a great hole in the side of the area, narrowly mission other Jedi who had came to watch. With Coci's attention on that for the moment she was caught by George's following move. As the floor cracked beneath her she fell through, out of sight. George could feel that no harm had came to Coci, but what was down there was a different story. As the other Jedi put the fire out that George had created Coci came bursting out of the floor and back into the arena.

As Coci began to descend she created a large wall of force, partially from George's previous attack, but mainly from her own strength. She created a large wall of power that burst towards George. He felt there was no escape from it, so he had to weather it somehow. He stood there closing his eyes with his palms out facing the blast. As it hit him he managed to absorb most of the hit. But it kept coming. Pushing him further and further back. He had done well to avoid loosing from start, but now he had to fight back.

As George's strength held the powerful wall back he knew he had to push back and reply with something. With most of the force coming down from above he decided that going blow of blow would not work in his favour. And with the fissure only a few meters from his current position he could use it as an escape strategy. He gave one mighty push against Coci's attack and darted into the hole, leaving Coci's attack with nothing but empty ground. He could see the slit in the top where the light shun down and could feel Coci's presence, along with remembering her last known position.

He ran under the arena for a moment before bursting out into the air and attacking Coci with a fury for force blasts. They weren't the strongest, but would hopefully get Coci off balance and take her attention for a few minutes.
