As his ship descended past Ancora's upper atmosphere to the landing dock, Vulpesen couldn't help but admire the beauty of its capital city. Veradune was naturally picturesque, with gorgeous forests to surround his home. But this place was a man-made marvel which shimmered under the sun. "Good find, Lucas." He turned over to his advisor who sat next to him, also looking out the viewport of the Vixen.

"Thank you sir. Just try not to get on the ruler's bad side. Single monarchs can be touchy on occasion, and I'd like to visit this place I the future." It was a bit odd to be called sir by the likes of someone like Lucas. Already the man appeared about seven years older than him in Human years. In truth, Lucas was two hundred years old, easily making the Valde look like an infant in comparison. His wisdom and charisma had as a consequence reached heights that the Valde ws still working on, making him the perfect diplomatic advisor.

"Thanks, I'll keep it in mind." Hearing the pilot signal their landing, Vulpesen walked towards the loading ramp, allowing his advisor to take the lead. His mission on Ancora was simple. Secure a contract to set up a vitae Precinct on the planet so that they could operate more effectively in the sector. As such, he had managed to get a meeting with the leader of the planet, [member="Sanya Val Lerium"].

"M'lady our guest's have arrived. They are on the outside landing pad's." The woman said notifying Sanya, it some way's it was also a reminder. She was more than willing to sit on the balcony behind the thrown room and look down towards the city far below. A city teeming with life, a city that never slept and its beauty in day carried on into the night. "Yeah, on my way. I will meet them in person." The feline woman said as she slid from the chair to her feet. Even though Sanya desired to forget about any business for today she dressed ready for what it had to offer. Her dress was not pleasant in the tropical summer heat. If anything the Queen would rather use her Grand master clothes. It was well more aired and was easier it ware in the heat. Yet soon they'd all be inside the c#diplomacy centre where the air was cooled.

As the woman set foot into the heat, her skin already felt like it was burning. A pale completion of one who was seduced to the darkness of indoors or the unnatural light of ships. Each step was followed by a tap getting closer to the guests. Although the woman was not alone. Her guard followed her more than ever as of late. Whispers of an assassins contract had been floating around after her attempt to repair the relationship with the Mandalorians and the Outer Rim Coalition. She wasn't ready to let go or repairing such a valuable ally and if it was not for a galactic power then she still had her own government.

Sanya looked at the man with her brilliant orange eyes. "Welcome to Ancora, and my home."

Lucas was dressed impeccably as ever, sporting a white suit trimmed with gold. Upon his chest was the emblem of an eagle, a mark he had earned long before Vulpesen had even been born. Regardless of his fancy trappings, Lucas offered a bow to the planetary leader, something Vulpesen mimicked, though to a far lesser extent, just barely going above dipping his head. "A very beautiful home, your highness. And if my research is correct, a happy one as well." He offered a white toothy smile as he complimented the planet. "I am Lucas Gracin, diplomatic Advisor to the Valde." With his own introduction done, he motioned to Vulpesen to spoke.

"Vulpesen Espadus Torrevaso, Valde of Veradune and the Vitae Alliance. Thank you for receiving us." While Lucas was meant to do most of the formalities, there was still a place for Vulpesen to speak, and it wasn't as if he were crippled in the diplomatic sense. He was simply more comfortable with mercantile matters.

Sanya did not bow back, but rather stood tall looking at the two who had been waiting for someone to escort them. "Thank you Lucass and yes my people are now we have finally evened out and settled fully. This is our second world, as their home world had been destroyed by a supernova. Anyway please just call me Sanya, never been big on formalities." She said now looking at the other guest. "You are very welcome Vulpesen." Her guard stood in two lines behind her most likely resenting the thick black armor they wore. "Please, follow me inside where it is cooler." Sanya turned around leading them both in the direction they had came from. "So how was the travel here. I assume you both passed between the two black holes route? That was the one we traveled on our way here. The path that is public. Makes for a good strategic defence point."

Lucas rose a brow and looked back at the Valde, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "It seems this meeting may be more your speed after all." It was no secret among the court that Vulpesen wasn't the most rigid of leaders, often lounging on the throne or turning his decrees into paper airplanes. Was it professional? Not quite, but pompousness wasn't quite his style. "All the better. And thank you miss Sanya. This coat does get a bit hot." Relaxing a bit more, the Valde and the diplomat followed Sanya indoors. "It was a pretty quiet trip. Our home isn't too far from here, and I can see how a pair of black holes can come in handy when it comes to planetary defense."

The sound of her footsteps changed as they entered the building with a black marbled floor that was separated with white, gold and red. Pillars reached tall as they walked through the lobby of the Diplomacy and embassy centre. "Well I'm glad that the trip was a safe one. Not so long ago we had a serious problem with a criminal organisation trying to force their way on us. Word got out that our people was without home and was on a long voyage for a new world. So you can imagine that caught attraction by slavers and those looking to exploit the situation. However they didn't bank on my people having a decent fleet backing it." The air was much cooler inside making it bearable. This was the first summer they'd had and it was a hot one. In many ways her people was still adapting but in adapting came strengthening them.

Entering a room with a round table Sanya wasted no time in taking a seat. Her guard mostly waited outside except two who stood by the door. "So [member="Vulpesen"], What bring you to Ancora and the specific request for myself?" She asked getting to the point. It was Something she got used to through running a business and a world. Time was precious, and wasting it did no one any good. She's watched friends come and go and even worlds. Seeing atrocities gives an appropriation for life. Not that everyone deserved it.

Listening with interest to her words, Vulpesen cast a sidelong glance to Lucas who returned it with only the smallest of shrugs. It seemed as though the Vitae Security Forces would be more welcome than even he had anticipated. Moving to take a seat, Vulpesen joined his host at the table. "Mutual benefit Sanya. I'm here to represent the Vitae Secutiry Forces, a company devoted to defending others around the Galaxy. I was hoping that I might be able to open a precinct in this system."

Sanya looked at the man with a curious expression. It brought about many questions that she wanted to now know. Her world was out on the edge of the galaxy almost isolated deep in the rim. Her world was always susceptible to attack and rallying allies would be hard with the limited directions. So what really could this man offer? What was hidden up the sleeves of a man she did not know anything about? why this world? "Interesting. You have very much captured my attention, but may I ask what do you think you can offer that I cannot provide for myself? also Why this world?" She asked sounding like she was even pondering on her own words.

"Man power is our main asset. My boys grow up fighting for their survival. Many of them have a bred in instinct to protect others." To show his point, Lucas lifted a hand to show the hardened claws that were his nails. Zorrens lived to defend others. and of course, they wouldn't have such a task if it didn't involve them being biologically prepared for the task.

"Even us diplomats are taught at least one of the three forms of combat. And not to put your men down, but as long as I've lived, I'm certain it wouldn't be too hard for me to subdue all of them in a fair fight. And even a few in an unfair one." Pompous as the words might have been, his voice was kept low and humble. It wasn't an assurance that came from mental simulations or guess work. At seven hundred years old in a hunted race, these were odds that Lucas had likely faced at some point or another.

"As for why you, to put it simply, you're close by and passed our vetting process. We can't allow our resources to fall into the hands of tyrants or nerdowells. If you use our people to enforce your laws, we had to ensure that such laws would not spit in the face of our own tenets." Vulpesen folded his hands and placed them lightly on the table. "All we ask in return for the enforcement of your laws and added defense to your planet, are maybe a few resources to do so, and a precinct form where we might be able to hire more members and launch missions in the sector."

"How cute." She said as she raised her hand and flicked her fingers outwards showing off her own claws towards the diplomat. "Lucas, while you seem confident my girls are not pushovers. They are the best hence why they stand by my side. Besides underestimating an opponent is usually a sure way to lose. That lesson has echoed through history time and time again." As her hand came down she'd pull a glass over to her hand and a jug filled with sparkling water. "My laws are absolute and if I choose to let you set up on my world I expect your people to follow the same as my people." Taking a long sip shed finish the glass of water with a few gulps. "I will go through the most common of my laws the rest I can send to your diplomat via mail. The things that are illegal, murder, most narcotics, terrorism, theft, false documents, flying without licence, drink flying even with auto pilot, GBH, discrimination, graffiti, slavery. Legal things, immigration with documents like birth certificate and photo id along with criminal records. Weapons require proof of ownership and licence of its holders. lightsabers are an exception to this due to it been a religious thing for many. Projectiles weapons, blasters, melee all need licence, bounty hunter's again licence needed, failure to hold or present it will result in jail time. Escorting and Self defence."

"Other laws that may apply to your men and their families, Children above the age of four under the age of eighteen must attend education unless the child is incapable to attend due to a medical condition. Citizens and visitors are allowed to drink legally in their own residence at the age of thirteen with parent's supervision. Alcohol cannot be bought by anyone under the age of eighteen. Citizens here are eligible for a pilot's licence at eighteen. Citizens and visitors under twenty one cannot hold a bounty hunter licence or a weapons licence unless you are of Mandalorian heritage. Those above eighteen will be tried as an adult in the courts of law."

They where the most basic of her laws and for the most part seen as the most important. To a sense many worlds shared the same basic foundation of laws and they worked for them as well as it does here. "Now. If you are to set up here i assume you've chosen a location that you'd like to set up on?"

Vulpesen rose a brow as he listened to the laws. Certainly there were some things that seemed interesting to him. It was all fairly reasonable and something his boys wouldn't have an issue in enforcing, even if some of the laws seemed a tad arbitrary. "I don't see how any of this would be a problem for my boys. As for location, anywhere out of the way would be nice. We're not exactly picky about where we set up and you know your planet better than us." For a moment, he deliberated on his thoughts, and he could feel the nudge from Lucas' leg that told him it might be impolite to speak on them. Still, he couldn't resist.

"If you don't mind my saying miss Sanya, some of your laws seem, a bit odd to me. Govern your people how you wish, but have you ever pondered your laws implications on the demographics of your people? They seem all well and good for species like humans and twi'leks, but in terms of age, eighteen doesn't always mean the same thing. For instance, if I had undergone my trial at ten years old, my body would have aged so slowly that there'd be virtually no difference between eighteen and five, thus creating a somewhat catastrophic loophole. Conversely, certain species age so rapidly that by the time you allow them to drink, they may be quite venerable. And in terms of the mandalorian law, my people have a similar culture, perhaps even more savage as our very existence is survival in hostile wilds. Might it be prudent for them to claim to be from a warrior culture in general, though that could be claimed by anyone as there's not exactly a mandalorian registration in the galaxy."

"Well we are actually still learning about the world it's self. We have only just worked out that the a force nexus resides here, it isn't dark nor is it light. A balance wholly in the middle. Yet it's effects are very giving. We have noticed that stuff grows here like crops and wild life at a much faster rate. Grown crops and livestock have not been an issue as a result. So if you want out the way I could suggest close to Zanphi, It is a mining town in the mountain ranges. So you'd have to work out resources with them since they are the ones who mine on this planet." She said thinking of a place that provided privacy but was close to the city. "As for the laws that are in place. They are always changing and altering to tailor to the galaxy. Right now what laws we have work for the people who live here. If you've not noticed this world is very out the way. You can Imagine that Visitors of the masses is very few. If there is cause to change laws then they will be reviewed and changed accordingly. The laws around Mandalorians have been a recent change simply because of the influx we ave had in the past few months."

Listening to her talking, Vulpesen perked up at the mention of a force nexus. Always an interest to him, and he had heard rumors that one may lay on Veradune though he had yet to go out and search for it. "I'm sure our boys can work out something with the mining town. And of course, any additional precincts that may come from our growth will be cleared through you first." Hearing her policy on the laws, Vulpesen nodded slowly. Diplomacy didn't always come easy to him. People were rarely as logical as he'd like. But laws were easy enough. They all had reasons. "In the future, I would suggest making general statements. Rather than state an age, state a maturity. Most species have a time of standard maturity, so state adult age as opposed to an actual numerical year. As for your mandalorian dilemma, simply state official warrior cultures. That would help you from pissing off any Echani or even my own people, the Zorrens." As he spoke, he was careful to keep his tone level, as to not suggest that he was demanding she make these changes. At the end of the day, he did recognize this was her planet, and that as helpful as his advice might have been, he could only offer suggestions that she could take or deny. "Changing laws can be difficult. On Veradune we do our best to ensure its kept to a minimum."
