• Custom Made: Theed Arms manufactured only one staff for the monarch, a one-of-a-kind symbol gifted to the Royal House of Naboo.
• Icon for the Masses: The Royal Staff of Naboo is an unmistakable icon for not only the Naboo and Gungans, but the Royal Republic as a whole.

• Pretty and Tough: The crest atop the staff is made of pure orichalc, a durable metal often used in lightsaber construction. This choice is both cosmetic and practical, giving the staff both an iconic Naboo finish as well as a dangerous blade.

• Unwieldly: Due to the staff's length and the unique shape of its bladed crest, using it as a weapon can be difficult and tiresome. Wide sweeps or mistimed jabs leave the wielder open to fatal counters.

With the Globe of Peace returned to Boss Pommu during a diplomatic mission in 902 ABY, Queen Kalantha wished to memorialize the Royal Naboo Republic's recommitment to the native Gungans with a beautiful piece: the Royal Naboo Staff. Prestigious weapons manufacturer Theed Arms was commissioned to forge the iconic staff, which is pivotal to the monarch's ceremonial duties. With this purpose in mind, the staff's orichalc motif was cast in the shape of the Royal House of Naboo's crest, giving it a signature brass finish. The body of the staff is polished zaela wood. The two materials together symbolize the cultural and diplomatic unity enjoyed by the Naboo and the Gungans, as well as the member systems of the Royal Republic.
