STRENGTHS
- | Electronic Suite | The RS 'Vulcan' sports an electronic grip that allows a user with compatible gloves and HUD access to a variety of additional quality-of-life features such as fuel capacity and predictive targeting/range as well as a biometric safety to prevent the wielder from being disarmed and subsequently having the Vulcan turned against them. Rest assured all said electronics are safely housed to prevent the unfortunate accident of an electric current passing through any stored Hellpyre and the Vulcan's frame supports a faraday cage to prevent external electrical currents from making contact.
- | Over and Under | The RS 'Vulcan' features a double barrel frame for extra usage. The upper barrel sports a pressurized nozzle capable of delivering specialized Hellpyre fuel from long range of up to ninety meters rapidly. The lower barrel can ignite the stream as well as deliver any secondary fuel via a shorter range. A secondary fire mode can be activated, firing a scorching, concussive blast from the lower barrel capable of knocking down and away targets that might dare get too close.
- | Self Destruction | In the event that you need to ditch the RS 'Vulcan' for any reason, whether it is out of fuel and just dead weight, or simply because you want to go with a bang, the Vulcan comes equipped with a self-destruction mechanism that will cause the platform to detonate via an electric current that will ignite the Hellpyre and/or whatever remaining fuel it may contain with a timed fuse, giving the user a chance to ditch and run or to simply chuck it at an enemy like a makeshift explosive.
- | Explosive | As expected with any sort of flamethrower, there always comes the risk of its fuel tanks sustaining damage. In the event that such an unfortunate event was to occur, the RS 'Vulcan' would explode and burn through all the fuel it has, with an extremely high chance for death, and if not death, permanent and irreversible damage. While attaching a fuel pack for extended use may benefit the user, it also comes with added risk and a target for being breached.
- | Fuel Expenditure | It should be noted that the Vulcan's pressurized nozzle does expel its payload at an extremely fast rate when firing continuously, resulting in the need for frequent reloads. To prevent going through all your fuel in the blink of an eye, it is advised to fire in short bursts. It also should be noted that due to its pressurized and the rate at which it fires, the Vulcan does boast some considerable upward recoil, so please brace yourself accordingly before firing.
- | Indiscriminate | As expected with a flamethrower, the flames no not friend from foe. Anyone unfortunate to get caught in its path will be burned by caustic napalm unless they find themselves sporting armor that is capable of withstanding extreme heat and corrosive acid.
DESCRIPTION
Based on the EWR-52 'Purge' Flamethrower developed by the Sith Empire, ApexTech Industries introduces the RS 'Vulcan' Heavy Flame Caster. While its predecessor was used exclusively by the late Sith Empire, ATI now brings the caustic deathbringer to the market at large. While most of its features have been kept relatively intact, the Vulcan sports a heftier frame to provide added protection to better ensure that its wielder will not be met with an excruciatingly painful, scorching, skin-melting death as its predecessor was prone to providing due to lighter construction. It sports a texturized, rubber grip to maintain a steady hold on the frame as it fires which also features electronic integration to provide additional benefits and biometric safety. The RS 'Vulcan' is primarily designed to deliver specialized XR-Hellpyre fuel, allowing for scorching, corrosive damage to be dealt to biological and armored targets from afar, but it is capable of delivering any specialized fuel as well as simple napalm. Additional features such as the secondary fire that delivers a scorching, concussive blast also aid the wielder in the event that a hostile gets too close or something needs to be knocked back/away. Like its predecessor, the Vulcan is designed to burn and melt its way through terrain, combatants, and armored targets with ease.
As with all ATI products, ATI absolves itself from any and all claims of injury or death to all individuals as a result of accidental or intentional use of its products and is not liable in the event that an individual or group is harmed or killed by said products.
