- Anti Slip Silicon Grip
- This weapon has no muzzle flash, by using electromagnetic fields to send the projectile. Its very low recoil helps a sniper to fire three shots without losing its eyes on the target even at distance.
- For the hunter, a simple lifeform scanner in the weapon can keep track of your confirmed kill count on the side, adjustable downward if a mistake is made, but never up! No cheating.
- An optional duravlex tripod allows for setting up comfortably, a comfortable herdon leather harness exists to carry the weapon, and the stock can be modified for the comfort or the size of its user.
- PLA-CORR Coating and Finish 50% Anti-Corr and 50% Plasteel. Offers superior resistance to weathering the natural elements, scratch resistance, and keeping a shine.
- Can Opener: Armor-piercing railgun projectiles. Can make short work of many armors.
- Hard to Spot: No Muzzle Flash, and quiet, the rounds are subsonic so there is no crack of the sound barrier.
- No Room for Error: x1 to x100 Moddable Multi-Spectrum scope and motion sensor, a very low recoil helps keep eyes on target at all times.
- Track the Kills A life form scanner will tell you if your target is no more and optionally keep a count of your kills.
- Railgun Limitations: Accuracy decreases the closer the target is.
- Bulky: Average size for a sniper rifle is still quite large.
- Rail Erosion: Each shot sacrifices the smallest amount of precision, the barrel will need changing after 50 of them. At extreme ranges, even a small amount of precision means a lot.
- 3 Shots and Done: A slow fire rate with just three shots, till the weapon needs a reload.
- Can be Tricked: There are many ways to trick a lifeform scanner, such as an artificial life signs generator, many sensor scramblers, cloaks, weaves, or a force user's ability to hide their life signs. Rely too much on technology at your peril.
- Rare and Expensive Ammunition: It's unlikely you can purchase many spare rounds to easily carry on the move, they are also hard to come by.
When a mysterious buyer sat down and offered Sere credits, like most of the FFE's weapon techs they feel like they'd done it all. So their interest was moderate. When they told them they wanted a railgun, their interest was improved, and when they said they wanted it in a sniper rifle, they were on board. At least three cases of firewine were harmed in the proving of this latest development.
If you want a weapon that cracks open hard targets at range, this is it. Limited production for specific clients. It is silent, deadly, and kills without discovery. All in all a good day for the weapon techs at FFE! It was like a dream come true to work on this beautiful work of killing art. Every piece was handcrafted in the Triad and syndicate wars, tested, tested, and then tested some more. It's rumored there are at least 15 different weapon paint jobs in circulation, though black is the most popular, loud neon pink has found a home on Denon, and of course serpentine green in the triad wars.
The barrel has room for notches of your kills, with an indicator of how many confirmed kills you've made. You can subtract them yourself if you feel there is an error but never add them, no cheating assassins of the galaxy, have some pride in your work!
As per usual no one from the company was around for comment, so we decided to interview them at the local bar anyway. Our reporter never even saw the muzzle flash...
