- 3K40 Targeting System: Used generally on military bases, the software allowed multiple weapons to convert onto various targets or concentrate fire on a single target. This is to help supplement the 840.z Holo-Targeting Suite when ordered to converge all weapons on one enemy point. (x)
- Docking Clamps: Mainly to keep the ships connected together during transport to and from systems. (x)
- Hyperdrive Signal Interceptor: The Hyperdrive Signal Interceptor detects fluctuations in the local area though not of its destination nor the type of ship. This sensor is used for the purposes of intercepting or patrolling heavily guarded sections of space. Also used to prevent being ambushed via hyperspace, giving some notice for stations to be at the ready. (x)
- Control Jets: How it was possible to turn the Rubys around this quickly. A great amount of control jets are used in each section of the ships to turn them in the proper direction and give the proper amount of acceleration when needed. It can literally go sideways if it so wishes but it be very slow. (x)
- Can't Touch This: It is not only extremely fast, it is extremely maneuverable. Good luck catching this unless you are a starfighter and if you are a light freighter, it will most likely catch you.
- Exposed Engine: It has only one main engine and it uses it heavily. If broken, it cannot go anywhere.
The entire premise of having a planetary corvette is the fact it cannot move anywhere except where the military says it needs to go. Haon Hafey had a conflict with that idea yet he had agreed a lot that perhaps it was time for something of the liking to be created. Part of it was due to perhaps that his next project was known only as Operation Motherborne. Taking ideas from the meeting and then taking it towards his own personal project, he started to create a series of military corvettes with no hyperdrives and made for simply, planetary duty. While they have other roles in mind later in the future, for now, it was all it was considered for.
They were made to be cheap, having 3K40 Targeting Systems, a set of Docking Clamps and a Hyperdrive Signal Interceptor. Control Jets were added shortly afterwards but regardless, the real kicker was the massive amount of Gemon-15 Ion Engines that were found laying around in Ord Mantell. Taking advantage, Haon literally said out loud "Make them scream!" and they did everything possible to connect one massive engine to a tiny corvette. In the end, the engine was almost half the size of the corvette and with all the Control Jets added into them, it was now possibly the fastest corvette creation he had ever made. This pleased him as well as it would work greatly for Operation Motherborne.
During testing, it was noted that someone getting lucky with a couple of salvo shots with turbolasers could ruin the engine structure. That did not phase Haon Hafey however as he simply called it "necessary risks" for his project. It being extremely fast and maneuverable should been more than enough to compensate such problems. As he looked onto the first ship being built before him, he could not help but wonder if frigates can be done possibly the same way.
