He even seems to have inherited a fondness to wear red and has a silver-white Lightsaber blade. He was sensed as a Force sensitive child and invited to join the Jensaarai Force tradition, where he became close friends with Corbin Vasher and Faolan Perona. Quick to pick up physical skills like lightsaber combat and mechanics, Rufus was rather slow in learning Force abilities. He stuck to it thanks to encouragement from his friends, and also boosted his confidence. After passing his trials to become a Defender and creating his armor, Rufus became a speeder mechanic to help out in his community. This didn't quite feel like enough for him and he was secretly dissatisfied with it but wouldn't complain. But then Corbin came to him with his plan of opening his own company creating all sorts of equipment to give his fellow Jensaarai jobs, which would greatly help the economy. Rufus joined up and
