- Fast and Nimble: There are few fights the Ruhlmann-24 can't dominate. On those rare occasions, it can handily escape.
- Expensive to Maintain: Six high-end engines require a lot of upkeep, as do the more sensitive systems aboard.
A heavy starfighter lovingly brought to the peak of retro excellence by Chi Chuchi. Starting with the baseline model, she's improved on the interior with polished greel wood paneling and plush Kudana leather upholstery. Art Deco accents in brushed chrome adorn the dash and compliment the ultrachrome armoring the fighter’s exterior. To improve combat performance, the guns were exchanged for FAE’s Blush laser cannons, a favorite of the Pantoran designer as they can penetrate through most common shields. A centerline launcher adds longer range firepower and options to finish off stubborn opponents.
Reinforced ultrachrome armors the fighter, a nod to the chromium that once coated the ships of royalty, and renders the ship highly resistant to energy and kinetic attacks, even lightsaber strikes. For further protection, Chi installed a pair of high-end First United Astral Engineering shield generators. Together these allow a pilot to modulate shield directionality while providing a reserve should the first fail. The Belbullab’s inferior speed and maneuverability were brought onto par with any first-rate fighter, with engineering enhancements to trade speed and agility about as needed. In short, the Ruhlmann-24 is a statement piece on the battlefield and off, one of wealth and taste, and the ability to protect it.
