BIOGRAPHY:​

Born into a lower caste family, Rulakh learned early on in life that if you want something hard enough, you'd do best to take it for yourself. Growing up with his parents often fighting for the credits to get by week in and week out, the boy watched his Father's anger grow as his suffering found solace in the drink and his Mother collapsed under the weight of his hand. Often nights when he remained in-doors before the age of a full decade, his parents would display the kind of aggression he quickly came to identify as hate and would likely later reflect on Rulakh's own relationships with women. This mistreatment soon became his burden to carry coming into his teenage years where he found the rebellious confident to challenge his father and often wound up black and blue. Unable to understand why his Mother refused to leave the man, and he unable to abandon her, the fighting did not cease until his sixteenth year of life.

Returning from a night at the local bar with friends, the usual antics found their way home and once again the arguments fired up between his parents, Rulakh standing between them and staring his old man down. It did not take long for fists to fly and out of the scuffle, the lad's Mom took a blow to the head that put her down, misplaced and meant for the boy. In a fit of anger, Rulakh turned on his father finding a half empty bottle that he had been drinking from; he smashed the glass over the mans head before proceeding to cut his throat.

Wet with his father's blood, he sought to help his Mother only to find that she would not wake. Resigning to sit beside her, coming down from his rage and uncertain what to do, the law soon arrived and took the boy into custody. Charged with his Father's murder, his Mother was reported to have died from a brain hemorrhage during the incident. Rulakh would spend the next several years of his life behind bars in juvenile detention facilities until later drafted out to the Thrysian Military when his parole came about.

Having started as a Criminal, the role of the Soldier did him well, teaching not only discipline but the skills and mind to hone himself into a warrior. His anger, he learned to temper so that it might never remove himself of control again, his grief was short lived and though he was under mental assessment by his superiors, action in the field soon hardened him into a man and he let go of the past, adopting the attitude and often-heard remark "It is what it is".

When his duration of service had been fulfilled and his sentence finally over, Rulakh left the Thryrsian Armed Forces and his home-world behind him. Feeling there was nothing worth staying for, he bought passage off of Thyrsus and sought work elsewhere, using his skills to make credits where and whenever he could find work.
