Character Creation Rules
Naming Your Character:
· Random names, such as "overvigorxizor", that don't properly represent your character's name or what he would be called in a role-play is not acceptable, and you will be asked to change your name.
Why: This rule was rather redundant and unecessary. The rule "Your character's account must be named properly. i.e "Emberli Garrett", "BV-119", "Omni"" already exists under the same heading. Besides, those who break it are unlikely to have read the rules anyways.
Creating Your Character
· When making the profile for your character, be sure to pay attention to your details - this is a reference for other role-players to use when role-playing with you or against you.
Why: This is more of a guide and less of a rule, the majority of which can be inferred from the need to create a Character Bio to begin with.
· Characters who use the Force must undergo training from a Master.
Why: This rule was never correct, and must be removed. A Force User may strike out on their own and, upon meeting their own standards for promotion, may contact a Role-play Judge per the Rank Promotion Rules.
Your Character’s Items
· All kinds of ships, weapons, and other items are welcome, provided they are reasonable.
Why: This is obviously no longer true, per the Restricted Items listing.
The Rank System
Force Users
· Force Users must abide by the 3-Rank Structure. e.g. Padawan, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master, Apprentice, Sith Knight, Sith Master.
Why: This rule is unecessary because the Rank Title system controls the rate of Force User promotion by default.
Non-Force Users
· Non-Force Users may request one of the following Title Icons:
Why: In addition to being extremely outdated, everyone goes to the Rank Title request thread for the tites - not the rules. It is unecessary for it to have representation here.
Character Transfers
· Neutral Faction Leaders may approve/disapprove Neutral Character Rank Transfers.
Why: This is inferred, has never been regulated, and thus has no place in the official rules.
General Rules
Roleplay Rules
- Do not create threads about what is perceived to be a lack of activity in role-playing. Create a new, [Public] role-play instead.
Why: We no longer have this problem here. - The staff reserves the right to lay out any consequence they see fit for the breaking of these or any other site rules.
Why: This is inferred and unecessary to state. #TyrannyReigns - Role-Playing (RP) is the main activity of Star Wars RP: Chaos.
Why: ....Not sure why I felt the need to state this.
